me and the mrs had a great couple of days with mark and his support riders…we did a stage with them in possibly the wettest weather ive ever ridden in…they all had high spirits on the ride and i had to keep reminding myself that mark had cancer and had openheart surgery 9 months ago…(he had me on a few hills) strong as an ox he is..

thanks to joe who from singletrack arrived at the yha last night with some cakes for the riders..very random and thoughtful! chapeau!
all in all a great time was had by all despite the damp conditions…

hopefully mark can sort the blog and we can get regular updates…(no pictures unfortunately due to issues with the new iphone!)

3 customers this year with merlin forks with issues…all werent covered by the uk importers warranty..im sure i remember the internals being different..

easy.i dont stock any forks now… 😥

i disagree…my focal point in the shop shifts depending on the customer…usually its the newest bike/wheel/pair of oakleys/kettle etc….

i wouldnt go in any shop where the till was the main focus…maybe you think that because youve not been in a good bike shop for years

having read the posts it seems the best thing to do is use the lbs who looks after you…we look after loadsa people and it must work because a fair few come in weekly…

the only people im not interested in is some of the people above who dont appreciate service and everything comes down to price…theyre conversely not welcome.but you get good and bad customers! i think im going to start a free local bike shop experience and then maybe some customers would see what the issues are..

the color is such because it'll have demo status…and i find if its lairy it'll take a bit longer to sell…..(i strugle hanging onto demos)

met my father yesterday with my sister…completely underawed we both were…i was freindly and approachable but this slipped after spending 40 minutes doing small talk.at this point i suggested that maybe he would like to know what we'd been upto for most of our lives…we got a question each..
