No you don’t have to. I just got so many great messages when I posted up in September about the loss of Bob the lurcher that it seemed almost rude not to let those interested know my good news.

Surely if the puppy can read it can teach itself? 😉

Never used a book, I just think like a dog. You need to be pack leader. What is it hearing me say? Am I being consistent etc etc. Don’t have a conversation with it give it clear simple commands and praise good behaviour.

Good to see Spokes getting a thumbs up. Always been good with me in all three branches. Enjoy the new bike.

Me too. Going to bring the wheels and tyres in to the house tonight so that if I need to swap the tyres in the morning then I can do so without suffering the sub zero garage temperatures and freezing cold rims. See I have learned quickly since my -3C fun session in the garage last week!

I never dealt with them over the phone but sent off the claim forms that I downloaded from the website. Obviously I copied everything I sent in case they lost it. Not one phone call and all was sorted out no problem.

Man i feel for you. I lost one of mine suddenly in september. I tell myself that he didn’t suffer because he went from well to gone in less than an hour. 4 is young. I hope this isn’t insensitive but do you have any pics you can post? It does get better.

In my experience you get out what you put in with them. It can be a good way to build an extended network and profile in a local context. Standrads vary greatly as they are all pretty much small businesses themselves.

Has anyone died or are they going to? It’s that important/urgent then.

Never insured ours. Got a quote for them both and just set up a direct debit to put the money in a savings account each month to the value of the premium. So far over £3k to the good.

Yesterday was my 5th run in over 20 years. I have just started 4 weeks ago and have been going out once a week as I cycle 5 days a week as it is. I am running off road and bought some decent shoes first. I choose off road as it is easier on the joints and a lot less bring. I walk for the first 2 or so minutes then set off. I had a garmin wrist device anyway so have been using that which is a great aid. First effort was 2.9km, yesterday was 6.4km. Well chuffed and no joint issues to date, touch wood. Any stretching done after exercise.

Mine is built and had a shake down test. It is a proper hoon! It has tartan rim strips 🙂 Just need some new grips and the cranks back from the powdercoaters.

I ran midge bars on the fargo for the short time I had it, now have them on the vaya. Not quite sure why you would buy a fargo and not run drop bars but each to their own.

I have a dirt worker that works fine. I also have one of those hand pump plant spray ones and a big bottle of water, that also works well and is a lot cheaper.

    Cycling in to the sunset.
Having a various birds fly along side me briefly be it a barn owl, a tawny owl or a buzzard.
Following a roe deer buck around my local trails only to crash and see it turn around and watch me get up.
Meeting a fox walking up the trail I was cycling down.
    I could go on….. 🙂

My plan is for this to be my only mtb. It will be set-up 1×9 initially as that is what the donor bits are. I have a set of normal 29er mtb wheels and a ss 29er rear and I can easily whip out the 3″ knards and slot in a ‘normal’ 2.1 if I feel the need, or with a few minutes set up run it ss. Next week I’ll know if this will work in reality or not!

I am running triple on the vaya, 26/36/48. No issues. I hated the fargo. Slow and sluggish on and off road.

Same set up and no issues, try roughing up the pads with sand paper and cleaning the rotors.
