As a dog owner I am also with Woody2000 and Yak. If they can look after a small pet then the ‘reward’ is the dog. Potentially saves everyone (dog included) a lot of hassle.

Have they solved the mukluk chainrub issues on the 2013 bikes without having to redish or space the cassette out? Looks great by the way. Currently swithering between mukluk and pugsley…..

I use hunter neoprenes but actually prefer a pair of lined mukluks I got off ebay for £25 that have been and are ace.

Take him to the vet asap. Not worth hanging about with a 10 year old dog. Not eating is less of an issue than not drinking.

Anyone know where you can get Kemper bikes in the UK? Have tried emailing Kemper a few times but no response and google isn’t helping me much.

    Dogs can’t look up.

All of ours could or can.

Can’t comment on the horse element of this thread.

First 2 days are grand, paperwork is a bit of a bind but a necessary evil. Assessment day was better than I expected. Level 2 mtb course was ace fun in comparison 🙂

I get that Mark, but from an admittedly simplistic viewpoint at £39.99 I am paying for digital content I don’t want and if I just got the mag you wouldn’t have to pay the VAT. All academic anyway as it is still good value at the price 🙂

We don’t want you to have to pay again if you want to read your mag on a tablet. You are subscribing to the content we produce, not the mechanism by which you read it.

Yes, but I just want to subscribe to the mag, print only and am not fussed about the extra online content or reading it on my tablet – but I can’t. Just call me awkward.

This happened to me, it is **** annoying. I varied my routine a bit to try and work out when it was appearing. This showed it was after 11pm but before 7am. Started to take the dog out / rubbish out at different times and by chance was there when a bit came over. It only happened on week days so I reckoned it was someone going to work. I ran out the gate so I could see the path and caught the ‘f**ker’. Told him I knew where he lived and if he didn’t stop I would throw unbagged dog shit on to his patio. Problem solved. I did actually know where he lived and I know his parents. The advantage of a small village.

I’d hazard a guess that they rarely voice these views publically, on account of having no friends, and being loathed by everyone who has the misfortune to encounter them. Thus denying both them a platform, and us a punchbag

    Binners 🙂

    Utter tosh !

er no actually. I had 2 witnesses to it as well but I grant you it was about 4 years ago which I should have stated. I also flagged it to my sister who has just moved from being a traffic cop to do command and control duties as it fits better with the children. It was her who said to report it.

I prefer the cold weather but the only downside for me is black ice, which caught me out late last week on the commute 🙁 As other have said I would much rather have cold and crisp rather than mild, wet and windy.

I reported a traffic car for overtaking me with all the lights flashing. I was doing an indicated 70mph and it went flying past me. I stopped about 5 miles later at the local chippy to see said car outside chippy. I know the chippy owner who informed me that they had been in to collect fish suppers and had arrived with their lights flashing. Hmmmmm. Actually got a response from an inspector in the road dept. That said I hate a cold fish supper myself 😉

Cyclewise tutors delivered a lot of the material on the british cycling level 2 mtb coaching course I did, they were very good.

Interesting question as I am currently thinking of selling the motorbike and all the kit. It is / was used as a toy but I must confess that the volume of traffic and consequences are reasons I am thinking of packing it in.

If I was 25 now I would probably do it all again but looking at relative costs, time available and consequences of enjoying myself I think it will probably go.

I think they have struggled for entries this year so is probably a way to run various events but keep the costs down. I think 10 under ran in 2012 but something else was cancelled.

What university doesn’t prepare you for is what to do after you graduate. I find this a shocking dereliction of duty.

This is being addressed but it has also sparked a very big debate about the role of universities loosely based around 1) to get you a job / prepare you for the ‘real world’ or 2) gain knowledge and expand your thinking.
