The new Maxle have gone back to non tapered now i think.
The problem is with the Maxle and nothing to do with Hope.
Hope have been great replacing the broken parts when the problem is caused by Rock Shocks.

Have you got a Maxle or quick release?

The Maxle light is a pile of shit and has been replaced with a non tapered version.
The maxle light can snap the inside of the hub on Hope Chris King and D.T Swiss.

It is very difficult to get it set up right. If you follow the instructions then it feels like shit, I have the high speed rebound wound all the way out and it feels good. A few of the guys at Orange run this shock, phone them on Monday for advice.
When it’s right it’s fantastic, but a bitch to get right.

No bikes are great allrounders, if allround means from dh race to xc race and everything in between. Stupid expression really.
If i had to choose 1 bike to do an xc and dh race on though, a 5 would be up there.

What is it with all the ill feeling about Orange, we should feel proud of a British company doing so well when so may other have failed or sold out.

If you are a trail centre mincer then the 5 will be wasted on you, ride the Lakes, Peaks and Alps and you will enjoy it lots.

Do a high mountain first aid course, the bike guide courses are bullshit.
