The new Five has a 65 degree head angle, that’s aggressive enough for most Alpine riding.

I’ve had a pre production Alpine 6 since July now, its a fantastic bike.
To be honest I’ve found the DPX2 better than the more expensive X2 and way easier to set up.

    I’ve got a Stage 6 & it’s the best bike I’ve owned.
Just how Orange bikes wind up the idiots is enough to make me want to buy another.

All the best trails aren’t on the dh or enduro maps.

Was in Verbier on Saturday, they have been working all this week on the blue so it should be even better this weekend.

When I see a thread for a bike I’m not keen on I don’t bother looking at it.
Having tried the Stage 6 in the environment it was intended for I can confirm it makes perfect sense.
It’s a limited launch model and I’m sure the pro, rs and r models will follow soon.

One of our guides has this very bike out in Verbier at the moment, it blows his Enduro 29er out of the water on the ups and downs.
    An amazingly fast bike.

I live just at the bottom of the hill from Verbier, just ordered an Orange 4, it’s not about the amount of travel it’s the quality of the travel, I would take a slack head angle over more travel any day.
The 5 is a great bike for the alps.

It looks like the perfect razzing bike to me.
Not sure it will look that good in a trail centre car park though so I may have to get a Bronson.

The only problem I can see is the earpiece if quite far where you speak into, can be a problem if u have a tiny head.

This has happened to all my Shimano clutch mechs over time.
