    Involver

That BBC interview link, poor lad seems to have learning difficulties. It serves no purpose to air interviews like that on T.V.

Both equal, 1,2,3,4,5,6 has as much chance as 12,15,22,23,28,36 for example.

Back to the original point, mine is pretty new but I’d estimate 800 miles or so from a charge. If it’s getting to the point it’ll be empty after 60 miles, might be worth replacing to be safe? Especially if you don’t have to remove the BB to do so…

To get 800 miles out of a charge you would have to be changing gear a lot. Like I said above I have so far done 1100 km (now 1200km) and the battery is still showing at 60% I think I will get at least 2500km (1500 miles) out of one charge. Doing 800 miles on one charge will not be a problem.

My bike is a new Canyon Ultimate and the battery is in the down tube, you would have to remove the BB to get to it.

1000km cycled so far on one charge and battery still at 60%. Tells me on my garmin (so geeky)

Cults/Beildside areas are a good place to live. There is a reason that its quite expensive!
Biking from your door in Counteswells woods, not as good as other venues but great for straight from the house. Easy access to the bypass for north and south travel. Good bus service into town. Old Aberdeen is easily commutable by bike. Schools have a good reputation. Old railway line for easy bike access into town and all the way out to Ballater if you require.

But most importantly is the easy access to Deeside. If you work in the city and require easy access to both the city and the countryside you can’t go wrong with this area.

Peterculter is worth a look too but it is just that wee bit further out.

I just cycled the Fife Coastal Trail which made a superb day out. Did it on the Gravel bike and it was fine. Made a slight error round Largo to Eilie, could have stayed off the road more there. But apart from that it really was a superb day out and I recommend it to anyone. Long day though!

Ffs you hit someone’s pet of course you should stop. Can’t understand why you didn’t slow down when you first saw the poor thing.

Labour will not win an election with JC as leader. He has too many people who dislike him. His policies are almost irrelevant, people do not see him as prime minister material and will not vote for the party.

This opinion comes from speaking to various people at my work who vote for various parties. Some gave him a chance at the last election and others were a no from the beginning. The common consensus is a dislike and disappointment in JC due to his lack of leadership and for failing to be a good opponent against the worst government in history.

Not sure I’d be sending someone who doesn’t do black runs down Heartbreak Ridge or Mastermind

Heartbreak Ridge is our go to loop with the wives in tow and they all love it. My wife loves Red and Blue trails at Glentress but tends to avoid the blacks and she loves HBR so it is fine apart from one short rocky section 3/4 way down.
It is a great loop with great views and is a must do (in nice weather).

Have a look on trail forks round the Ballater area. Loads of riding to do and plenty coffee shops too. Heartbreak Ridge is a must do there is only one short hard section that is easy walked down.

Looks like Mps have to vote for her deal first then they will get a 2nd referendum vote after that.

May to offer a parliamentary vote on a 2nd referendum according to the Independent. Breaking news apparently so let’s see what happens.

Currently I have rim brakes and have never struggled with power. I see both DI2 and discs as an extra luxury but just can’t decide if its worth the cost. I am drawn more to DI2 with rim brakes but I just can’t decide.
I won’t ever be using the bike for carrying luggage got a gravel bike for that.

I wonder what the brexshit party policy is on Scots independence?

My assumption is he will be all for it but the narrative will be boot them out. This will appeal even more to your average hard for thinking knuckle dragging Gammon. This assumes that the Brexshit party do poorly in Scotland, which I hope they do.

I would be more wary of buying a vehicle of that age with only a month of MOT left.

I have a Knog Oi on the gravel bike. Works fine is more than loud enough hasn’t fallen apart and looks discreet. It did jingle constantly on the first ride but I just tightened it up a touch and has been flawless ever since. I would buy another.

I would have just trimmed the hedge

The hedge was a 10foot tall 8 foot thick row of Leylandi trees in a small garden!

Is it really worth arguing over a couple of inches? You can insist on your rights, but at what cost?

No not normally, but what will happen is the wall will run along my garage then step out 4.5 inches and run along. It will look naff.

    Squirrel-
It is my neighbour who is building and paying for the wall. He wants it half on my land half on his. I want it all on his land so it is flush with existing garage wall.
I assume he is not allowed to build a boundary wall on my land?

    cultsdave

No, he wants to build his wall half in my and half in his Garden, I want the wall flush with the existing garage wall which would but it all in his garden. I would rather have a fence but happy enough with a wall especially as he has said he will pay for it.
My question is, Is he allowed to build the boundary wall half on my garden and half on his?

Yup, broke my right collar bone in November, 3 months off the bike. Was just getting my confidence back and broke the left one on Tuesday. Gutted is an understatement!

That’s annoying and an easy mistake to make. I would have set a low torque 1st on the CCW direction as I know some torque wrenches only work CW. Not that that is of any help now though.

I don’t know the legal position, but in my industry (Oil & Gas) quite often when someone hands in their notice to go to a competitor they immediately get marched out the door. They then get paid for their notice period while having a few weeks unplanned holiday. I hope you get the same!

For the same money I bet you could get something much newer!

Mine voted for second referendum and revoke article 50, and against leaving with no deal, seek preferential trade agreements, and EFTA

But that’s because I am in Scotland and even though we obviously talk sense up here it counts for diddly squat

Being in Scotland didn’t stop my MP Ross Thompson of Aberdeen South voting for No deal and item 7 Contingent preferential arrangements
Calls for the government to seek to agree preferential trade arrangements with the EU

He really is a nasty piece of work, I can’t believe that people voted him in.

The money thing makes no sense to me what so ever. Leavers seem to see it as an extortionate amount to pay for nothing in return. The stupidity of this is unbelievable. Its a bit like deciding to stop setting up your stall at the car boot sale because the the £10 fee was too much despite the fact you make £100 from selling all your goods. Instead you set it up for free outside the area and pay nothing but only make £20 because nobody comes. Not only that you have failed to notice that you set it up in some dodgy area and spend your whole time trying to stomp scumbags nicking your stuff as you have no protection.
    Makes me so angry!

I used to think like this but as TJ says why not use a bell?

Since fitting a bell it makes life so much easier, you can bing it from miles away and folk hear you and gladly move out the way. Before I used to say “morning” or whatever and sometimes people would get a fright others annoyed and some would be fine. Since using a bell all the aggro has gone and life is easier and better. The only reason to not fit one is because they aint cool!

P.s, only got it on my Gravel bike as that’s the only one that sees regular use on shared paths, no way my MTB is getting one!

Or May has to go and beg for an extension to Article 50?

And if she doesn’t or the EU says no? Don’t get me wrong I think something will change before the 29th but the current law says we leave on the 29th, which is one week on Friday!

Just leave with no deal and sort trade out deals. End.

    Is this a serious comment?
