Bike was new in 2014 so assume 2014 forks. I don’t think they have changed them yet but could be wrong with that?

I have 26inch Devilles on my Rallon with 650b wheels. The 26inch ones are (for that year) the same as the 650b ones. I have a 2.35 Magic Mary on. The clearance is tight and in really claggy mud it can bind up but this happens very rarely. Not ideal though.

My mate has the 1st generation Rune I think. Its a big heavy burly bike but good on the downs. I think they size up small though. His is a large and feels too small for me. I am 6’1″ though.

My last couple of sets of superstar pads did this. Older sets of Superstar pads have been fine. Apparently the uber bike ones are good?
I replaced mine with Shimano specific ones.

    Use https://ridewithgps.com
Much better than trying to use google on its own.

I think that most modern steel frames lose that lovely steel feel as they have big fat seat tubes to accept a dropper post. My bird zero tr is every bit as nice as my mates sole but much lighter!

I don’t feel I know enough about it. What are the advantages and what are the disadvantages?

My reasoning for leaving would be that the government generally want us to stay in the EU and generally what they want is something for themselves. Does it aid the needs of our country staying in?

My reason for staying is that Farage and UKIP want to leave and I like to disagree with everything they say do or believe in!

If you plan to stay on the piste all week get the carving ones. If you are doing a mixture of pistes and off piste even if its just off the side of the piste into the powder at the side then get the all mountain package.

Did Aberdeen to Morzine then back 2 weeks later our return journey in a van was 22 hours total with 2 driving. Way out was a bit longer we arrived mid afternoon had an early night and were up riding for a full day the next day.
I would leave from Edinburgh at 6ish in the evening and drive to the train. Wee snooze on the train then get going with a few stops on the French side. It’s a long journey but easy doable.

The link is not working for me (might be my work computer settings)
I have the Jobs worth truing stand and I think it is a brilliant solid bit of kit. Looks like a rip off of the park stand. I think it cost me around £70 which is cheap for how good it feels.

If you don’t mind constantly tweeting your gears to get them working go with SRAM. If u want solid reliability go with Shimano.

Do a bit of searching to find a letter that sounds legal. Write to them and inform them that you do not know who was driving the car. You are under no legal obligation in Scotland to give them this info. Different if it is a speeding fine etc. They will write back a couple of times demanding that you tell them but just ignore or reply back confirming you don’t know who was driving. Worked for me!

Yes, used http://www.mytyres.co.uk a few times. Bought 4 steel wheels and winter tyres from them. It was hassle free and good value.

I only use the Osram Night breakers and agree they make a huge difference over standard bulbs. Not sure if there is anything better but I struggle to imagine that there could be. The only negative is that they don’t last as long as standard bulbs I find they blow and need replaced after about a year.
    Worth it though.

If its dropping 10mm and is 2.5 years old it will just need a service. Buy a basic service kit for about £10 and just service it yourself. Full instructions are available on the SRAM website.

I bought the Jobsworth one from planet x that looks identical to this one. Its a really good solid lump. Bargain compared to the park one.

I have done it before but I just missed out the step described. It seemed to work fine but is needing done again after only a couple of months so want to do it again properly. It was very easy when using the PDF I have linked above.

Cheers Stumpy, but those tools except for the ISP Height tool are for the standard Reverb not the stealth. I think what swanny is describing will work.

If you had a choice between 2 similar bikes for the same price and one had a dent in the top tube which one would you buy?
Also a dent will always weaken a bike maybe not by much but it will still be weaker.

So in answer to your question yes it will make the bike worth less but if the dent is not bad you might still get a reasonable price for it.

I am with the OP. 1 x 10/11 is fashion led. ok for trail center stuff that the blokes who like it ride. places like the lakes where proper mtb riders frequent, it is nigh on useless

Haha, nonsense. I rarely ride trail centres and find 1×10 32 front 36 rear almost fine for many of the big mountain days I have done local to here in Aberdeen. If you don’t like 1x that’s fine but don’t talk nonsense, no-one is forcing it upon you. I will be going 1×11 when the new xt 11-42 cassettes are available as it will make the climbs easier but if I can’t get up them in that gear a lower gear is not the answer.

Whats your point? If you go to a park at the weekend you will see many premier league footballers playing.
Lots of people where the colours of a team they like for lots of sports.
    P.s I don’t have any team tops!

If it is as bad as last year mud spikes will be totally useless!
All tyres were useless last year for “that” section!

I am 6foot 1 or 2 and have a large Rallon. They are long bikes but feel right. Shorter bikes now feel very short. Worth having a 150mm dropper too imop.

    Is the question:-

I have a 2007 xtr groupset, will it work with a 12-36 cassette?

Answer:- Assuming both are 9 speed then I don’t see why not.

Have you been bitten by a tick recently?
    Or you are just ill!
I had a similar thing for about 2 months earlier this year, turned out I had a virus. It went after a while.
