inbred, I didnt read it here first. Other people, why wont brawn be quick next year, they stopped developing 2009's car after Turkeys GP and started on the 2010 1 before the other teams, I think it will be Ferrari, Red B, Merc and Maclaren, but it will be awesome to have 4 Teams at the front.

anyway, your very unlikely to come across a 240v supply in the UK, seeing as mains is 230. oh the joys of learning this stuff presently.

they are slightly lighter, more resistant to rust, because the £30 will be nickel coated. It is lighter, and will* shift slightly better.

    *probably wont. 🙂

I built this bike to race this year, the total build came to around 500-600, borrowed bits and was given bits to build it up. the stylo cranks on it in that pic fell off the bike when i was preriding the scottish champs course in FT. william.

full carbon XTC frame costed me £300.

the bike looks a lot different now though, I've changed the wheels and the forks, the cranks and other bits and bobs.

how did I know it would be a hayes brake?

anyway, take out pads, lube round the back of the piston with silicon grease and force the piston back in, spray with degreaser and replace pads.

for the puffer, you should be using discs, for any conditions except frozen. as for reliable brakes, go for shimano over hayes any day…

because BMW was founded by the merging of two aero engine manufacturers and the roundel represents the spinning of an aircraft propellors against a blue sky.

An engine manufacturer and a propeller manufacturer actually. was at a tour of a bmw factory in munich less than 3 weeks ago…

… Hope it was warmer than Inverness way!

It was beautiful sunshine this morning around Dingwall. We were sweating while our wheels were crunching through the thin ice in the pools on the tracks.

that wasn't an exaggeration, It didnt get above 1 degree here yesterday. hey ho, at least the firetracks are freezing up (getting faster) =)

My XC race bike I have just spent £1000 making lighter! I was using 06 rebas and 2kg wheels, upgrading both of them should make a big difference.

my winter training bike is a 32lb trance x3 08' heavy, but for training and mucking about in winter, its all you need.

I would say yes, some people take weight saving far to seriously. But for others, they have to do it so that they arent racing people on bikes 10lbs lighter than theirs.
