If you’ve got a spare £50K-£75K you could build one –

If you do please can I have a go there?

There’s a very good chance you’ll meet some of the worst of what the human race has to offer.

At a trail centre? As opposed to in outside Yates’s on a Friday night or Butlins in Skegness or A&E on a hot bank holiday? Which trail centres do you go to?

I’ve taken my dog around the red at Sherwood Pines a couple of times at 06:00 in the AM on a weekday when there is no one around. It’s not something I would consider if we were likely to see anyone else. Likewise I wouldn’t take him on a group ride as its not fair on others in the group.

Whoever it was that took a deer into the ‘downhill’ section and let it off the lead was a bloody idiot because it sent me over the bars.

Is it more likely to be needed on a FS rather than a Hardtail?

Third option, brake with the intention of pulling into the now very large gap and if he brakes to try and stop you, brake very hard and drop behind all three – if you do the maths you’ll find you have a better chance of survival by braking to a stop than persisting in an overtake with someone racing you. If something comes the other way the brake hard strategy has advantages:

This is making an assumption that no one was following the OP before he started the overtaking manoeuvre as well as assuming neither of the 2 cars in front prior had also decided to use a long straight to get past a slower driver.

I would suggest braking to a stop in moving traffic is more likely to get you rear ended than using a little extra acceleration to circumnavigate the bellend in front.

Particularly useful for cleaning body fat from washrooms.

Might get some for the kill room then.

I had a Dunster House office at my old house. Was a two man job to assemble over a few weekends. I got a builder mate to lay a slab for it. I invested in all the optional insulation and heated it through the winter with a couple of decent pcs and 3 monitors. The doors suffered with warping a bit but that may have been a humidity issue caused by keeping an 800l fishtank in there.

The point I realised I needed to cut back was when I was tea bagging a dead hooker outside of a computer game…

There are kids in my 9 yr old sons class who have been playing gta and cod for several years. These kids are always the ones in trouble. I know correlation <> causation but it can’t help.

I don’t think the not understanding how far computer games have progressed argument stands. Have the parents really relaxed their responsibilities so far they don’t ever enter the room when their kids are playing?

What also confuses me is the number of parents I know whose kids play an 18 game but wouldn’t be allowed to watch a 15 film. Seems strange to me.

My 6yr old daughter loved it as did everyone else we went with. It wees allover the last trilogy and is fitting of the Starwars name not what I’d feared from a Disney production.

I don’t get modern film age classification though. It’s a 12a and the originals are U but no real difference in content. Yet some newer 15s are so much more violent or scary than the 18s of yesteryear.

I think that website is a great way to start creating a new brand. Given that there isn’t even a production product on sale yet there is a wealth of content on there to wet the whistle of an interested consumer.

If they’re not selling the orange one though, I’m out.

It’s still the only scene I’ve ever had to ffwd through. Brilliant film and a necessary scene but just horrible to watch.

Film I regret watching – A Serbian Film.
I’ve tried washing my eyes, drinking the memory away but no, there are images from that film that are burned into my soul.

This wins hands down for the most depraved sick filth I have ever seen. Just read the IMDB parental guide (it contains spoilers but as I highly recommend no one ever watches the film it shouldn’t really matter)

I downloaded an un-editted version and started getting paranoid that I was going to be on some government watch list and getting a visit from the police and ending up on some sort of register.

Its supposed to be an arty allegory for the Serbian war but its actually just about trying to be as ****ed up as possible.

also +1 for watching American werewolf as a kid and being terrified!

But I don’t see passages from the Old Testament being used to justify flying civilian airliners full of passengers into office blocks, suicide bombing the tube or the bus or a market, executing thousands of prisoners or those who believe in a slightly different version of the religion, taking sex slaves, shooting school children and university students, cartoonists or hundreds of people having dinner or attending a music concert.

The pro-life bunch in the US hold pretty hard line beliefs they fully believe are Christian but they are happy to bomb abortion clinics etc…

Pretty sure the ‘Lords’ Resistance Army in Uganda will have been quoting from the bible and elsewhere in Africa so called Christian militias have committed horrendous atrocities in the name of the bible.

I think its a fair criticism, On my commute I meet cyclists with
-overly bright poorly angled bar lights
-stupidly dim lights which are completely useless
-helmet mounted lights flashing straight in my eyes as we pass
-Road ninjas with no lights and dressed in all black
-An idiot with a rear light on the front
None of which are helpful for other road users, many of which make it dangerous for the cyclist in question some make it more dangerous for me to cycle.

Maybe there is something to be said for some form of certification of lights for road use, not that it means they will actually be used correctly.

    No!

I don’t see how flattening more of their country helps the Syrians. Killing more innocents (bombs are not able to discriminate no matter what the powers that be tell us) is only going to add fuel to a fire we have already stoked enough.

Perhaps if we hadn’t set about arming the FSA,Iraqi army, Anti Gaddafi Libyans etc… then Daesh or IS or whoever they call themselves would not be in the position they are now.

Thanks for the advice so far – I’m going to try a full flush tonight including the cistern. I will get up in the loft and have a through look inside and give it a through going over if required. Are cleaning products a bad idea even if I flush it thoroughly afterwards?

Thankfully this is really an issue with my house and not my personal plumbing perchypanther and as much as I rate a lot of advice from the STW massif if I had a manky discharge from any orifice on my body I would probably seek help elsewhere.

So its a gravity fed system, in a 15 year old house. The water is not rust coloured it’s more like something between a stagnant pond and horrendously dehydrated urine. After flushing the tank it’s a lot clearer but not 100%. The house may well have been standing empty for a short while but only a few weeks max.

We had an odd beeping noise. A single muffled beep every 10 seconds. It was only audible when the house was silent but then it was enough t keep me awake. I spent ages turning everything off, went through the loft in case it was something battery operated and was a low battery warning. Eventually put an ear to the right bit of dividing wall (we live in a semi) and located it next door. Neighbours on holiday for 4 weeks, they came back and it stopped. I think it was an answering machine or something as I have heard it since. If we actually spoke to them I’d have given them an earful!

Isn’t one of the advantages of getting lost on a roundabout that you just keep going round and end up at the junction you missed?

The crank is an XT-M785 double so the ring can only go on the inside of the tabs.

One more quick question, I plan n trying 2mm spacers so will I need longer chain ring bolts than the standard XT ones?

    cubist

I haven’t got any bb spacers so I guess I need to find some chain ring spacers.

    Thanks for advice.

I recently managed to re-educate myself to use a single finger. I’m also on XT and found as well as the above advice to move leavers in along the bar it also helped to reduce the reach significantly. Only took a few rides like this to become second nature.

Those screaming “won’t somebody think of the children” would do well to remember what causes children in the first place.

Beause sexualised 13 year olds with their great sense of responsibility and common sense is a great idea 😕

I’m not suggesting that a couple (of any gender combination) having a snog in public is an issue but unfettered ‘liberalisation’ leads to social problems with younger and younger kids getting their end away and as you rightly pointed out that’s where babies come from.

Found a massive Perenti or Goanna in the road in Aus. – not an expert on lizards but it was basically a medium sized dinosaur.

My mate managed to hit a Snake in the UK when we were out on our motorbikes and his tyre flicked it straight into me. The shock nearly had me in the hedge.
