still firmly in the 26 camp at the min. I want and am saving for a pivot mach 5.7 carbon. but I can easily see me selling the crush and getting a 29 hardtail as a second bike.

So a guy with a vested interest in a company that are actively phasing out 26″ wheeled bikes from their range gives you some sales spiel to get you to buy a new bike, and you believed him?

Never said I believed him, just never took 29 too serious. Nobody I ride with regular has one. So no first hand experience. Just an interesting point of view and I’m open to that.

i ride sherwood nearly every sunday,

i have maxxis Highroller II 2.4 front and rear and just use them everywhere in all conditions.

they get me through stuff like sherwood and FOD through trails like cannock and did W2 on them a bit back.

its awesome. some think it is too big bit it is only a little longer and no wider than the HTC Desire HD it replaced.

everything is fast and smooth, games, video all play smooth and look great on the screen.

easy to navigate and if you are used to HTC very intuative location of setting and apps.

if your worried about memory it has dropbox which is like the i phone’s cloud.

For me it is awesome. i refuse to get an I phone and be a sheep just because everyone elce has one and its (apparently) the ”best” phone. the HTC is better in nearly all departments. the thing that would make it perfect would be app store insted of google ply but that is just a personal thing.

i am an hour down the road in lincoln and these seem to be my ”local” pivot dealer.
