    Totaly agree.

In my oppinion they are great and a new lease of life to the injured or older riders that can not ride unassisted anymore. One of my close riding partners is 36 and is having a double hip replacement. The Doc says no more MTB but depending on his recovery a E-MTB may be an option.

i would agree with rickon, another vote for the Pivot Mach 6C. I am a Mach 5.7C rider and have demo’d a 6 and loved it (spread the pivot love!) it goes up as well as it comes down, the DW platform is stable enough that you dont need to piss about with lockouts and CTD etc i just leave my 5.7 in full open all the time.

i would also look at the Knolly warden

got a 5L pump Presure bottle (like used for insectisides in the garden) just give the bike a spray over to get the worst off at the trail then muck off and rince at home if needed

i have a Mazda 6 2.2D TS2 estate. generaly get about 43 ish mpg better on long runs. get roughly 400 – 500 miles to a tank but i do alot of town running about. its AWESOME! got rid of a 2.4 v6 Audi A4 for it and doubled my mileage and halfed my tax. I can fit the bike in the back with seats down without taking any wheels off. boot is huge and it has so many toys, cruise control, blind spot warning and auto lights and wipers to name a few of my favorites. the 2.2 goes like a rocket and will suprise people who aren’t expecting it. be aware it is LOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG as in wont fit fully inside many parking spaces without overhanging a foot usualy. other than that its brill!

If you don’t ” have to” have 650B maybe look at the mach 5.7C. Picked mine up early last year for a very good price off here and it’s been awesome at everything I have thrown at it from xc type rides to bike park Wales. Worth a look

Nixie, it is a Hercules, it’s an AC130 used by the yanks, retro fitted with something like a 30mm minigun, 50mm cannon and a 75mm howitzer!

    Hi there,

I have an 11 plate Mazda 6 TS2 2.2D estate . I came from an v6 A4 estate and honestly it out classes in nearly every way more comfortable, quieter, shed loads more space as in don’t even need to take the wheels off the bike (pivot mach 5.7C in large) to get it in the back. Heap loads of gadgets and it doubled my mileage and halved my tax from the Audi and imo the styling is much nicer. Oh and its quick too, nobody expects it! Only problem that isn’t really a problem is that it’s long as in doesn’t fit entirely in many parking spaces long lol
