I, m a retread, having passed the original two part test in the mid eighties, and so glad I did as the current system seems very complicated, first bike was an er6f, fabulous little thing, proper bike, but not scary, now riding an mt09 tracer, which is a properly quick suv of motorcycling, and I love it

I lasted 10miles where a broken spoke and damaged rear wheel stopped me in my tracks. Gutted is not the word

There was a post around christmas time about watches, one of the brands mentioned was nite, I got interested and bought one of their vision range, its heavy and very black but I really like it, it is so solid feeling and different to anything I have had before

Me not quite 6 foot, her just over 5 feet, we dont share many clothes, I cant get in her car till the seat is moved back , she cant reach the pedals in mine till the seat is all the way forward, she would not ge able to ride the tracer

I am a returning motorcyclist, having had a gsxr 750 in my early 30s. The itch returned and I bought an er 6, cost me 14 quid a month at hastings direct, I was amazed, I am now on an MT 09 Tracer and it costs me the same, 500 excess is the only downside

Did a year of msl but once subscription ran out went back to bike, I read it as a youth and it is still informative with a touch of irreverence

When one of your best mates knocks you off your brand new mt 09 tracer outside the dealers, his fault not yours

I do and hate it, its nowhere near as good as the elite one it replaced. Problem one is not really tacxs fault, the software runs on android 4.3, my tablet runs 4.2.2, no update pending apparently, the resistance wheel gets so hot you cant touch it, why I dont know, I dont like the two leg system of balancing, the elite had a single, frame type that seemed more stable, the clearance between the resistance wheel and my bike wheel is damn tight, why?, the elite gave several cms, the cam lock system never seems thar secure, not failed me yet but I am waiting. Not a good review, if I still had the packaging I would take it back, an expensive lesson to learn, no more tacx for me thanks

From my experience sub 1.30 half is much easier to achieve than a sub 3hr marathon. To run sub 3 you need to be around 1.25 for a half. That for me will take some structured and dedicated training.
