There is enough bad shit happening all over the world without having to make a mountain out of every molehill as well. No need to exaggerate things.

Have a look at the video.

    I have.

He grabs her by the throat.

    He doesn’t.

He slams her against the pillar.

    He pushes her against it.

You just don’t go round grabbing people by the throat and slamming them against pillars.

    Hyperbole much?

but grabbing her by the throat ?

    That’s not the throat.

He reckons the 50 bottles, which cost just over £100, will last him a couple of months.

Craig, 29, said: “It was more of a ‘get it up ye’ to be honest. They can’t take our alcohol off us.

Somehow I doubt Craig is going to see his 40th birthday…

Are they ISO 14001:2015 accredited? Complying with environmental legislation? Got all their consents from EA/SEPA/Water companies etc? Pay their staff an actual wage?

No? Then they are part of the problem, stop enabling them.

She has been cheating on you and is dumping you because she thinks she has found someone better who will stick around, lawyer up and don’t be a push over. Take what little comfort you can from the fact that if this guy is as good as all that she said then he won’t hang about for long, he himself will be off with someone better.

I’m looking forward to him being PM. I assume that will be the end of Michael Gove for one, and secondly it’s got to be worth a couple of percent swing to the Yes vote in Scotland for IndyRef2.

Nobody seems to disagree that the cause can be established in 15 minutes.

Most people seem to disagree. At least those with any sense at all.

Eliot Jackson is giving him a run for his money this season, would be good to see the two of them combined into a 1hr pre race show on red bull tv with all access and a crew to help. Leave Wyn Tv for the short clip format.

Do people think males attitude towards women in general is getting worse, or is there a mood in society that is more conducive to at least talking about historical and current issues regarding male behaviour?

Doubt it’s getting worse in general given huge strides in equality over the past decades. I think it is a lot easier to share stories and shine a collective light on poor behaviour. In saying that there does seem to be a kick back to progression over the last few years and the rise of this seems harder to stop than you would think so who knows, not a simple answer one way or another.

Crowd policing is all well and good until someone falls out with their partner and cries wolf or someone thinks they seen something they never. Some poor bloke gets a hiding or worse for no reason. You can’t set a crowd up for some vigilante justice and then expect them to behave sensibly and restrained.

Realistically it probably can’t be stopped without wholesale changes to how they are run. Then ticket prices would need to rise putting people off or the vibe of the festival will change and do the same.

If you put a large number of people into such an environment then even statistically you are going to get some of the type of person who would do such things. Add in those who would attend for this purpose – how on earth could you even start to filter those people out?

Change behaviours? Maybe for some of the lower level stuff where the perpetrator doesn’t realise they are out of order. For serious sexual assault and rape – not likely.

Can I covert a 500ml fanta/coke bottle into a portable gas reservoir? Thinking if I cut out a valve from an empty gas canister and epoxy it onto the screw lid from the fanta bottle I can fill this with gas and have it as a back up to my lightweight bikepacking gas canister. If that runs out then I can attach the fanta bottle to the canister and squeeze the gas from it into the canister?

I don’t see many sea birds caught up in or starved to death eating organinc cotton shopping bags. Seen lots of them dead due to platsic though. Same with the sea and oceans. Full of plastic, from microplastics being mistaken for algae and entering the food chain, right up to larger pieces entangling creatures.

    You want tri-ply stainless steel.

Costco Kirkland for a reasonable set.
    https://www.costco.co.uk/Furniture-Home/Kitchen-Dining/Cooking-Bakeware/Kirkland-Signature-Try-Ply-Clad-Stainless-Steel-Induction-13-Piece-Cookware-Set/p/987640

    Procook Tri-ply.

    Ikea Sensuell
    https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/collections/sensuell/

De Buyer for excellent quality but budget friendly frying pans, the black iron ones take a really good seasoning and become non stick.
    https://www.nisbets.co.uk/de-buyer/frying20pans/_/a33-1.f8-1?sort=match-rate-desc

Then you have the Le Creuset stuff for a lot more money and then the Mauviel stuff for even more.

I have a Mauviel frying pan, which is not non-stick coated for doing steaks and chicken with pan sauce etc and the Ikea saucepan and pot along with a cast iron enameled casserole dish from Sainsburys. If I never inherited the Mauviel pan I would have a De Buyer one instead.

My car allowance is £4560 a year which isn’t a lot compared to most places but they are pretty relaxed about age of car – more concerned about the CO2 emissions.

If it’s only for chickens a flexible blade boning knife will be a bit better than a rigid blade one when taking meat off the small bones. If you want a boning knife for bigger jobs as well then a rigid blade one will be required and will also do chickens perfectly well. I wouldn’t bother with one of each, I have a 5.6403.15 Victorinox Fibrox Rigid Boning Knife 15cm for everything, it takes a very nice sharp edge and grip is great even when wet. Get onto YouTube and watch some Jacques Pépin chicken deboning videos for techniques, after a few goes you’ll be doing a chicken in just a few minutes. Leave the filleting knife for fish.

A bit fancier – debone a whole chicken

I’ve got a Cobb. I love it for going camping, can do so much with it. Treat it like a small portable charcoal oven though – roasts, casseroles, curry/chili/stew good if you get the deep dish frying pan thing. Plus you can steam using the moat, and use it for smoking meat and fish etc.

For actual UK style BBQing (ie get it hot and slap a ton of burgers and sausages on it) I find it a bit lacking, can get by for one or two people but not as good as an actual BBQ due to relatively small cooking area (the charcoal/fuel brick is held in the centre so direct heat on the outskirts of the grill not so hot).

I’ll always stick with the Cobb, nothing better than putting it on with a handfull of charcoal and coming back hours later after a days riding to a meal like it was out of a slow cooker only better cause it’s outdoors!

Although a totally different situation to yours – A couple years ago I was going through something and couldn’t think of anyone to talk it through with for advice – turns out reddit was good for me, an entire sub dedicated to the same thing and reading all the posts helped me a lot. Wouldn’t spend too much time there though – can get a bit mad and depending on subject trolls galore.

I hit a pup once that bolted from a garden right out in front of me. It got a hefty skelp, let out a sickening yelp and it ran away into the woods. Spent about 8 hours looking for it with no joy. Felt terrible but nothing I could have done to avoid it. Poor thing likely curled up and died somewhere in agony.

    A cat though? Meh.

Swap the part time job you hate for a full time job you like? Keeps you away from the unpleasant atmosphere longer each day.

Help the 12 year old with her activities, let the other two manage and take care of their own. Your wellbeing isn’t any less important than theirs, so make sure you take time out for your own activities. If you are less miserable then maybe that will rub off on the rest.
