She might have had a drinking problem but she also had an attitude and a personality problem.

It’s a Netflix film but not on Netflix UK by looks of it. Oh well, torrenting it is then.

A machine to refill is what is wanted.

I don’t think that’s going to happen too often unless it becomes legislation. The amount these companies spend on marketing is scary. They are not going to want some git refilling a manky container then complaining on social media about the product they’ve just contaminated.

Are you OK there mate? Bit of a weird comment.

Fine thanks. What’s weird about it, haven’t you seen this in the news? 3 million signed up across these types of sites in the UK alone, 56k young women in universities across the UK signed up to a sugar daddy website, several universities have 1k members. Adverts and billboards promoting the websites on campus as a way to pay tuition fees. 36% increase in sign ups in 2019 compared to 2018 which was up 22% on 2017. Universities appointing staff to give advice on the subject etc etc.

I’m not blaming the youngsters, I’m commenting on the fact that some of them are raking it in, therefore £300 odd a month can seem trivial amongst certain peer groups.

Mind you with the number of students cam whoring and selling themselves on sugar daddy websites reaching epidemic levels, it probably doesn’t seem a lot of money to that age group when they are all raking in £3k+ a month for a few hours a week ‘work’.

People are too busy to look after their loved ones these days. Got to be money in that. Either youngsters or oldies, don’t know which would be easier but you could think about combining the two. Get the oldies together in an old folks home which doubles up as a nursery during the day and they look after and entertain loads of kids. You get to charge twice for the same space.

It doesn’t pay well but Cougar seems to enjoy it

Not as much as she enjoys preying on young men.

My workplace is full of 23-25 year old graduates with brand new audis and bmws on finance. Most still stay with their parents. Madness.

It’s a tax on the poor and desperate. Odds are shite and some of the good causes are a bit questionable. I’ll pass.

A big part of the problem is the contracts with the companies appointed to operate and maintain the roads. For a lot of the problems identified early on it is not commercially advantageous to put them right before they worsen.

The previous style berlingo had fold flat front passenger seat which means you can build a bunk in the back and use the front seat as a bed extension. Build the bunk with storage underneath for your cooking gear and other bits and bobs. A bike will then fit inside along the length behind the drivers seat. If it’s the van version I think the fold flat front seats were an option, if the car version then they should be there and you can remove the rear seats easy. Make up some siver foil bubble wrap blinds with magnets or suckers and off you go.

Just tell them it’s not your fault. Everytime you bang their wife/mum/sister she makes you a sandwich.

I’ve forwarded this thread to PETA. Absolutely no need to treat another living thing like that. Even if it does no physical harm the emotional trauma you have inflicted on this creature is abhorrent.

Ebikes aren’t for me, yes I’ve tried them – they’re fun but I prefer my normal full suspension bike as an all rounder. I don’t think the general public are going to be all that aware of what an ebike is vs a normal bike – especially the way development is going. What can and does happen though is that irresponsible behaviour is amplified when using ebikes.

Example – couple of weekends ago I took a walk up and around Conic hill. It was midday and busy as usual with walkers. Two lads on ebikes thought it the perfect time and place to do laps – going up the back of the hill via the WHW and DH the front into Balmaha straight into the walkers comming up the narrow steps. Do this once on a normal bike and you’re a knob to X amount of people you annoy, do it 3-4 times on an ebike because you can then you’re a knob to 3-4X amount of people. Do it early morning or in the evening when it’s quiet and no-one is going to care.

I use bolle tracker 2 safety glasses/goggles with rx insert. Cheap, tough and does the job as good as anything else I’ve tried. Not very fashionable though but I don’t care.

I’d rather do something else completely than use a cheap non c2 rower. You won’t use a crap rower because it’s crap. You’ll find that out very quickly so save youself the bother and make other plans.

No vet would put down a healthy dog.

Sadly I think you are mistaken. I’m sure one of our previous vets had told us that you did get instances where people had put provisions in wills for healthy animals to be PTS on the totally misguided notion that the animals would never be happy without the (now deceased) wonder (narcissistic) owner.

To all those arguing whether or not he grabbed her by the neck / shoulder or whatever and not her neck, I’d say this:

    So what?

It’s bad enough for what it actually is without exaggerating and making up things for the sake of sensationalism. That’s what. Forgive me if I try and hold reporting of news to a decent standard.

    He’s been suspended.

If the government think it’s serious to suspend a Tory then something’s up.

He’ll be quietly reinstated the next time there is a close vote happening.

We’re discussing the rights and wrongs of grabbing someone and pushing against a pillar during a peaceful protest.

    That’s more like it.

His hand is on her right shoulder not around her throat. You can see that when they turn around. He then changes and puts it on the back of her neck.

So we ingore MPs committing crimes because soemthing happened elsewhere?

How about the next time you get caught speeding you get accused of a hit and run.
