Unlucky, but don’t be too down about it – use the experience of the process for the next time!

I always try and take the view with job rejections that if they thought you were not right for them, then chances are they wouldn’t have been right for you either – so nothing lost at the end of the day.

Full face might put her off if not used to it and in the heat as well. If you have a decathlon store near you they do a range of lids for kids. I bought a couple of these recently for similar purposes for my two nephews and they seem every bit as good as the expensive branded ones twice the price from evans.

Tracey from head office visits me on Thursdays. That makes my day. A break from the normal group of resident land whales and ham beasts.

October for me it would be the Cairngorms. Cairngorms in Autumn is my favourite time and place. Either aviemore or braemar side. Plenty walking of all sorts and scenery from either base. Hiking up the hills or through the glens, hard to beat. Look for self catering cottages, there are a good few options. Not so many beaches unless you get in the car and hit the West coast but that would be best reserved for a follow up visit early one summer.

If I ever get an ebike, I think I’ll ride it in the nude. That way people won’t be talking about the bike.

I very much doubt it really show what will happen in Scotland. SNP will gain more seats than that and th tries will lose most of theirs

Although I hope so, I wouldn’t be so sure. I’ve never seen as many openly tory people in my life than I have in recent months. Where once it was something never to admit to, kept behind closed doors with heads hanging in shame, I’ve had conversations both in Glasgow and Edinburgh offices with highly paid profesionals and several working depots full of low paid manual workers. Granted still majority seem against them but there has definitely been an emerging of an emboldened group all for it. That sends shivers up my spine.

What about keeping a handful of quality, no frills, low budget 2nd hand bikes ready to go? That way if someone comes along with their BSO deathtrap you can show them the difference to a real bike and how it could be just as cheap buying one of yours than fixing theirs only for it to be crap again soon afterwards.

I’m purely in the school of pump up feel it with my hands, let out until feels right.
Try a trail and let more out if needed depending on surface type.

I think I would be willing to spend up to around £500 and would like to get something as advanced as possible for the price.

£500? You could buy a clothes rack for that!

Vitus, Canyon and YT seem to offer good value for money, presumably due to the online sale nature of them.

For now at least – what about after October 31st though?

Whyte bikes, although I’ve never had one, always seem reasonably priced and well specced considering you still get them from actual shops so no faffing about with warranty returns in the post.

Maybe, just maybe, he has only been acting the fanny all these years as he knew it was his best chance of getting elected as PM. Now he is in his true colours will shine through and he will be the one true saviour the UK needs. If anyone can recruit 20000 new police officers in 3 years, renegotiate a brexit deal with a group who have finished negotiating, single handedly save the union, heal all the divisions, make everyone in the UK more prosperous, reverse the decline of so many of its towns and cities then its got to be Boris. One glance at his track record will show you that.

If we’re going to get silly, might as well suggest the eu27 should invade and occupy England!

Perish the thought! Can you imagine the paperwork that would be involved in that?

Maybe Ireland will join the UK.

What’s that you say – don’t be daft, that’s never going to happen?

Aye, said that about brexit and boris as prime minister. Granted, this would be even more bizarre, but they way things are going…

Other than an emotional connection to the people of NI, would anyone on here object?

Not to the idea, but I would to the elements of the loyalist nutjob brigade who would quite possiblty migrate to near me in the west coast of Scotland bringing even more of that sort of nonsense with them. And I don’t need any more of that, thanks.

The number of current MPs who are not self-serving gits can probably be counted on one hand.

Aye, and that hand could have an altercation with a table saw blade and still be used.

Work. Anyone ever taken on their boss and ‘won’

One of my first jobs in my early 20s I took my boss on out in the carpark and won. I don’t think many places will let you get away with that now as part of a dispute resolution.

DUP: The DUP are opposed to the deal. They want a 100pc united Ireland. (That’s the irony they were keeping the Tories in power whilst being strongly opposed to the keystone Tory Policy!)

Eh? Are you saying the DUP actually want a united Ireland?
