I wash mine in warm water with a small amount of washing up liquid. Then rinse off with cold water, pop it in the airing cupboard to dry overnight – job done 🙂

Can I put in a big shout for Certini Bikes[/url] of Saltash Cornwall & the owners Rob & Tony. IMHO this is the best bike shop in the Plymouth area.

I’ve been using them for the last 5 or 6 years and I’ve now managed at long last to get them to call me by my first name. They have been very helpful with bikes, servicing, parts, advice, clothes & I was allowed to use just about every Spesh demo bike they had a year back when I was looking for my next bike. I always get great service & discount too. They even let me drop my bike off early on my way to work when they are there but not actually open & then they have it ready for me to collect on my way home – fantastic customer service guys!!!

all the non threaded cartridges on that site say ‘not for use with innovations inflators?’

Hmmmm not sure Andy I use threaded carts therefore never noticed the non-threaded problem 😕

PS the second wind pump takes threaded carts

shands – I’ve had my second wind jobbie for 2 years & it’s the dogz nutz, never let me down & the tyre inflator site in my post above does the CO2 carts at rock bottom prices 😀

I’ve got one of these Innovation Second Wind Pumps the best of both worlds it’s a normal pump or you can use CO2 carts, very small & not a bad price too.

I used the OME pads & they were poor didn’t last long plus they cost £15 a set.

Changed to Superstar and I’ve used both organic & sintered pads with no probs. Both great value for money and better,IMHO, than the OME ones.

Had a great commute into Plymouth this morning from Cornwall in the nice sunny weather.

I’m hoping this mornings headwind stays in the same direction & I can get a little wind assistance getting up them thar hills on the way home 😆

A Mavic Crossride rim & Bonti ACX……….. been there, tried to do that & after 1hr 45mins I gave up 😕

I did manage to get the front one on with no probs but the back one was a nightmare. I never managed to get it fully on & I even had to use steel tyre levers to get the bleeding thing off again 👿
