I've got one of these Smart 1/2 Watt rear light & it's VERY bright & so far waterproof.

another vote for Shimano MW80 & yes get a size bigger. I got a pair for just under £100 but worth every penny when it's wet & cold but you have dry & warm feet 🙂

second the SSC brake pads & they are lots better than the OME ones that lasted 5 mins.

I've got 2 bikes & I've now got 2 sets of wheels for each one. As said above you do need to buy additional rotors & cassettes etc but to be frank I run various tyre combinations so having the extra wheel set is spot on.

I use one bike for commuting so slicks are on one set of tyres anyway.

great fit & forget brakes and I've had minimal problems with them in the 3 years I've had them. Would I buy some more? Yes definitely 😀

I had a similar problem with a fiesta not a focus & it turned out to be the pollen filter too. Water was getting in round the bottom of the filter & then making it's way into the foot well. Solution – remove pollen filter, apply sealer & re-fit filter – job done ! 🙂

If that doesn't work I recommend a pair of these 😉
