I have ridden up on Bodmin Moor starting from Minions car park with the Cornwall MTB club & there are some decent trails up there – if you know where they are 🙂

It's been a nightmare round here with the cold weather making the roads very icy & only the main roads get gritted 😕 It's now slightly 'warmer' & all the ice has gone.

The ride in the snow from home was fun & the grip was amazing even better than when it's muddy – weird. A mate is coming up later so I might get out today for a quick blast.

You might want to take some extra precautions to secure your bike(s) if you do decide on Exeter. My mate had his shed done over this year & lost his bike, tools & spares, plus there have been a number of other threads on STW regarding bikes stolen in Exeter ….. not that I'm trying to put you off mind.

What happened to your plans to go to Jockland?

Glad to hear you are on the mend & take it easy mate, no point in over doing things & then ending up taking even more time off the bike.
