I did thus last year, but my cc stipulated that any purchase needed to be in sterling to qualify for 0%, worth checking first

I really want the jekyll. When I bought my codeine they were offering 2013 model with fox 32′ s fir more than that. The pull shock is supposed to be awesome!! Anyone wanna buy my codeine???

And the winner is….. dropper post hose. I’ve let all the air out if the forks and there is still plenty of space and can find no rub marks at all. Brake cable is also tight and doesn’t get close to tyre. Dud the same at the back and the reverb hose dies touch if you rotate the hose guide. As thus is mega loose it’s totally possible that thus us the issue. Only thing is there doesn’t seem to be any marks on it but it was only on landings. Really odd as I was CERTAIN it was the front. Will only tell on my next rude but thanks guys!

I do have a dropper post so could be this, although it has not rubbed before?

The tyre came as specced with the bike. It’s a pike so I’ll let put the air and see what happens. I don’t understand why the space would be any less under compression though? the lowers are only piece and the wheel shouldn’t move in it? Maybe I’m missing something?

If it is catching the Crown what would the cause be?

    crispy1980

No, I did have a mucky nutz on there and that dud catch from time to time, but it bulges out and was very close to the tyre. I took it off a day or two ago before thus ride. Maybe it was masking the tyre buzz

Should have mentioned that both front and rear have slight buckles. I’ll defo have to inspect it tomorrow and see if there are any marks

I wondered about the axle, I did tighten it slightly before the last descent but weirdly I couldn’t say if it was better or not. Sounds daft but I just didn’t notice if it was still doing it. I did have the front wheel off a day or two before the rude so could be a possibility. It’s a maxle.

I’m almost certain it’s the front. I’ll have to take a better look tomorrow for marks. Would running low pressure make this worse?

Sambob at some point ill take you up on that offer. For the minute I’ve dropped the bars right down to see if that counters the cramped feeling. I dud email on one to see if they could sell me a bare frame, but they replied that they didn’t have any large anyway and all they could do is offer me the bundle deal at 800, which us obviously a no go.

Ps I also set up the shock with the race settings. Haven’t found the need to change anything since, although I’m not pretending to be well informed about what the settings effect anyway!

Thanks for the offer but I’m in Stoke. I have emailed them to see if they can do me a bare frame. Although, I think you may be on to something with the high front end. Mine still has three spacers under the stem so could be dropped a lot yet. I’m thinking this will actually put me in a better position. I’ll try on the next ride I think, cheers guys

I’m wondering if I should have got a large. I’m 6 ft dead but don’t have a massive reach. After looking at the geometry and talking to the guys at on one I went fir a medium, wh I’ll St descending feels great, climbing I feel a bit bunched up. Although everytime I ride I’m getting pb’s so I’m obviously quicker. I had a spesh xc before and the large on one would have had the same reach as it, which I wanted to avoid as I always felt a little stretched on steep stuff on that. Seems as though they don’t measure up as the geometry says somehow? I could do with checking my leg over a large Really.

Hi, I also have one, what size dud you get? How tall are you?

I’ve ridden dego a lot over the last few years and I’ve heard lots of people me ton that it feels like all time us spent climbing. I think it’s because the descents are pretty smooth / not really technical that they can be covered very quickly. It does then seem like you spend very little time on the descents. In comparison, I rode at macc forest the other day and did the cat and fiddle loop. The steep descent back down is literally one rock to another, mega tricky and consequently pretty slow. It seemed like it took as long to get down as it did to do the climb up ( although two of us had a lie down mid way down, which showed us up) . overall I like dego, and at the end of the day you have to go up to come down!!

No it was a cycling specific one. Had a go pro mount space on the buckle. There is one similar on there but doesn’t have and back protection

I didn’t know that! So the bead needs to be in the central channel as opposed to butted up at the edge? Will the tube inflation pop them out to the correct ppositions then?

Search for reviews and the dirt one comes up. In the questions at the bottom are the on one team setting.. I’m using these and it seems good

I ha’ve just recently been in the same situation, I ended up with the on one codeine, fir 1750 it has pikes, ccdb and sram x 9 running gear. I was unsure about riding a 29er but have since found that after one rude really it feels normal, never think of it really

I’ve been in touch with then and made it clear that the damage is unacceptable for a new bike. I also made it clear that I know that then exchanging the bike will cost them a significant fee. I have said that it’s eitheir an exchange or a significantly better discount offe.. Looking at it again it’s inky really the top tube that bothers me. If I keep it I’ll helicopter tape the tt and that should mask it nicely. I have to wait until Monday for ‘ the boss ” to be in

Well, I had a chat with someone from on one , took a load of measurements and decided on the medium. Can’t wait for it to arrive now!

It’s not so much standing over the bike it’s how much movement there is whilst riding and also in an emergency dis mount its tricky if the tt is as high as your man meat as its difficult to get feet down. I really don’t know which to go for????

It’s the standout height on the large that’s concerning me. It’s 862mm which us pretty much what my inside leg measurement is. It would mean balls on the bar stance. It dies seen odd that it’s so high? Looking at the geometry of other bikes they all seem a good bit lower? My curreMr bike has tt of 625 and with a 50mm stem it occasionallyseems a bit ling, my arms are straight in pedalling position and I often find that I lean my palms on the backside of the grips to straighten my back a bit. the medium on one has tt if 600 mm so with 50 mm stem this may be better for me?

    crispy1980

I’m going to gave to take some careful measurements I think. How short a stem are you riding?

    crispy1980

I have just been looking at the geometry , it seems the large on one has a 5mm shorter tt which is good for me, but the standover is 735 on my spesh and 862mm on the on one? This seems a huge difference ?

Also , anyone who has one, what is the sizing like? On the website I’m plum in the middle of the two sizes . At six foot dead I’m right at the top of a medium and right at the bottom of a large. The ghost I was supposed to have was a large, I test rode a norco with a 45 mm stem I needed extra large and my current spesh fsr xc 2010 is a large with a fairly long top tube and a 50mm stem it is fine,

I think I will then, apparently the frame suffers so little Bob that a lock out is UN needed?? May be a good compromise fir a better shock, was just concerned I wouldn’t be able to set it properly
