Hence why they’re cheap if you can find them. One of the comfiest trainer/shoes ever worn. Not gone busy think they’ve just pulled out of the mtb market.

If there still about the Teva links work bloody well with saints. My am41’s were awesome with my v12’s but the pins on the saints just don’t work well with the soles. The saint pins are a bit small even with the spacers out. Try J E James

Yeah. This is what I’m looking at

    Miveu

Seems quite a cheap/good idea as haven’t got the money for a go pro!

Had the same issue with my Hope rotors. they replaced avids so like above used the cup and cone spacers off those to make it work. the Hope rotors tool some messing about with on the avids as well. It will work but just need to take the time with the placements.

However I may have to not play in a 7’s tournament the week before! I do like a injury to moan/ make excuses for being a pussy, about. Also glad to see a good mix of ages ( late 30’s here) and good to sort of break the ice before we get there. Saves name tags and love te fact we id ourselves by the bikes were on. Looking forward to seeing the Evil and the whyte’s in action( possible next bikes).

Hi All. Adam here from Andymc06 group. lots of fettling with bike getting it ready. so will be riding right up to the trip just to iron out anything. dont go fast enough to brake anything so shouldn’t be a problem. can’t wait to get out there. Work is beginning to drag so much!

Shame about people having a bit of a problem with the deliveries. Mine came next day.
I also just changed my pedals from V12’s to saints and found my AM41’s just didn’t like the saint’s. Was going to go back to the v12’s but then changed to the Teva’s and they matched up a treat. so definately horses for courses on the grip/ platform front. I find them sooo comfy as well. just seem to fit my narrow feet well.

Mine came today. Lovely fit and a lot lighter than my am41’s. not tried them in anger yet but will see how tet get on round swinley and beyond on sat. Must be good as my daughter thought the laces were ‘cool’!

Mcnultycop, how do they size up? I’ m really a 8 an half. So if they size up I can get an 8 in not a nine. I know foot size is a hard one to quantify! But been looking at something like these for a while so would like to try and get em right. Damn my odd foot size!

ha ha. i only have 2 gears and one of them is going soon. Just can’t spin as i’m usually late for work or train! plus i actually use it to get some training in.

Funny, on my commute i find it the other way round. everyone seems to want to get passed when stopped at lights. They then go passed the asl, stop at the edge of the junction then tootle off. i then have to navigate passed them. Then i hear the change of gear while they try and keep up on their big wheeled carbon road bikes. However see that sort of thing on all types of bikes.

You could argue it is a vital part of your racing set up anyway. As it a way of reviewing your race and tekkers.

I sort of see that. However if someone is that serious about surfing then they could just go back to the course and take photos or video of the sections they viewed as dangerous. If it is to do with other issues when racing then it would be witness statements and such. I can’t really see a case where you could argue that you didn’t know the risks!

Not if they don’t sponsor the event/BC or get special dispensation.

The bit about the footage being shared is true. We all like the head cam footage from these events. Seems silly to ban it

There’s quite a bit on the lomo site, that while not cycling specific fits the bill. There’s also a decent looking grey dry bag they’ve just released. Their sports glasses are a steel at £15. British company as well. Just to add i use that bag everyday for commuting and have used on all day rides where the weather could be changable. No sweaty back problems at all. Good strapping systems as well. oh and i’m nothing to do with them! found them through a review on their glasses in MBUK.

    lomo dry pack

Have a look at Lomo sports. They specialise in waterproof gear. the pack i’ve got is comfy and big and think i’d quite happily use it as a buoyancy aid.(cheap also)

Police don’t prosecute. They report and present. I must know the entire 3% of the force then. They are normal people with the same interests as everyone else except they get sworn at and attacked a bit more often than most. They get as frustrated as everyone else.

Tbh once on the bike you don’t really notice the colour of the rotors. I have blue and they actually didn’t stand out as much as I’d thought they would. I also have matched seat clamp and head doctor. But looking at your bike blue would match up well with the frame and existing pivots.

No. First time for all of our group. Really looking forward to it. We’re cheating and flying. Mainly due to us lot being spread all over! Not heard a bad thing about white rooms and Stevo seems pretty sound on here and was great with sorting our booking.

So as far I can figure, everyone going the white rooms 5-12 th July is on here! Should make for some interesting forum conversations.

(Note to self, only positive input until then!)

    Where’s everyone flying from/ driving?

Oh I’m part of Andymc06 group.

Well I thought I had a confirmation email but it was just the subscription email. So checked and no evidence of my order at all. No payment out of bank so can’t even prove I ordered. So now no chunky monkeys or the 32t bash I thought I’d ordered. I’ll see if anything happens over next few days. If not money will go somewhere else.

PG even if they get your shock back don’t give this up. Appalled by this whole thing. Spoken to my bro (postie) told him about this. Basically they don’t know what’s banned or not. Neither do the post office. It seems different interpretations all over the country!
Very patient man all I can say!
I’d have gone, ahem, postal by now!

Agreed with Greybeard. If you can find one you want in stock thats the best colour. Luckily i found mine in black. But it looks dirty after every ride but then again its sat on a building site all day so dust just covers it!

Not just motorised traffic i can see cyclist colliding also.

The thing that worries me, if there is no cycle lane as such ther is no specific access point to the road. So at a junction where cyclists may approach from either side, where are they to enter the one way road. From left stay left, from the right stay right or cross across to get left and visa versa. just throwing initial thoughts out there as not seen them in practice.

The views from the bus driver make interesting reading further down that report. He acknowledges that in 12t of bus it doesnt matter what speed you hit some one their going not going to come out of it well.
There is also an earlier stat that london buses kill or seriously injure 1.03 people a day over the last 5 years. The bus companies say they cant find the figures but a foi request managed to get them!
It really is getting awful on the roads as the light has changed people seem in more of a rush and give you even less space on the roads. Not just in london. The worst drivers i encounter are in watford. 3 times i had to take manuovers last night. Or is this recent spate of deaths just making me ride more defensively?
BTW i’m not saying it was the bus drivers fault on the last one.

Works and zee for me too. Managed all the rock garden sections at bpw without issue. Fit and forget type thing. I’ve kept a bash on though as its saved my ring a few times (in both senses)

This is horrendous! I believe there was another poor soul hit in Nantwich yesterday. But this one is utter cowardice!!
