updating Malware bytes now so hopefully that will sort it when I re-scan. I’ve got my install disks with me somewhere, but need to back up stuff. Would there be a chance i’d copy the virus onto external harddrives?
I only use my laptop in work so have nly been on STW, facebook, hotmail and orange website, which is why i was suprised it was there this morning.

Ive managed to stop it up every 5 seconds through the task manager but its still there lurking around but wont pop back up now until I re-start. Ok will try updating Malware bytes. thanks

my mrs wanted a bike… or rather i wanted her to get one so she liked the look of the Specialized Rockhopper and tried the womens equivalent… the Myka. She preferred a 15″ mens rockhopper tho and got that. It was a HT tho but may be worth trying smaller mens sizes as she didt like the geometry/riding position of the women specific bike at all.

any similar gloves would do the trick as long as their comfy and tough enough to prevent your hand been shredded when things go t*ts up. I wear full fingered Fox ones, there very comfy and after several falls there still as good as new.

The office hag complaining loudly to anyone within earshot that she has too much work to do. Just STFU and get on with it

I think you must work in the same place as me! If I had a shotgun it would be a hard choice between her and the useless waste of space sat behind me (hope thats not you)

First make sure you know if it’s a cesspit or a septic tank. A cess pit is a chamber used to temporarily store your waste. This will need emtying when full or you’ll have a loan full of crap. If it’s a septic tank the waste will naturally be broken down by bacteria and the run off will discharge into a soakaway. To keep the bacteria happy you should avoid disposing of excessive amount of bleach and chemicals, but I think your normal household amount will be ok. Treat the sewage system same as you would any other, ie no nappies etc. If its a septic tank you should be able to forget its there as it will look after itself. A cesspit will need regular emtying. Thats my understanding of it anyway

Ive trimmed my brake cables shorter as I have my brake levers further in as only use one finger and then zip-tied brake and shifter cables together and that has stopped them rubbing against the frame. Only you will know if the maxle upgrade is required for the type of riding you do, but the way i looked at it was id rather pay an extra £100 now than £500 in a few months.

I’ve only noticed cable rub in two places on mine. The usual place around the head tube area and between the shock bracket/mounts. I dont have any protection tape, not even on swingarm and so far it’s not looking too bad.

It will inevitably get scratched, battered and bruised. Dont get hung up on it, its a tool, get out and have fun on it. Oh and i’d recommend a maxle upgrade too id if possible as it’s one upgrade you cant do at a later date.

    ready for action at Afan.

Im only an average rider but i’ve definately noticed the difference both in climbing/pedalling and on the rough stuff. i’d never go back to the standard RP23 now (which is for sale if anyone wants it)

I have one on my Five too and love it. so much better than the RP23. Just feels right. Would have gone for The Ti spring which is £200 extra but wasn’t available for the 190×50 size (although I think you can get a Ti spring from Nukeproof for that size but apparently the finish is no where near as good as CCDB ones).

now get some mud on it so it matches the rest of the bike!

its around 35-40 degrees C here. and as far as rubbing it in ive just come off 3 weeks leave and have another 3 weeks off from 15 July. meh (but dont get to go on my bike until then :-( )

when i went a couple weeks back I think (from memory) the following sections were shut:

    Granada
    Handy Andy
    Grand Canyon

I took the shortcut accross from marker no 36 to 54 so not sure whats shut between those points.

I have a Sony Vaio F series. 8gb Ram,Intel i7 processor, 500gb hard drive, bluray player/writer, HD screen, wireless etc use it for CAD work, 3d stuff, videos, pics and all the usual stuff. no issues so far but do need external HD’s for all my videos. quite pricy tho depending on your budget (£1400 ish)

cant see any need for a PC

did the Skyline for the first time last thursday and Granada was closed and as mentioned above the diversion route was unclear. There was 3 or 4 signs at the same junction pointing in different directions, and as I didt know the trail I followed the one that had ‘skyline trail’ in tiny letters in the corner of the sign (the others had something like ‘MTB trail’. The diversion brought me out at the top of the final descent so missed a huge chunk of the trail. Not sure weather the other 2 diversion options would have only cut a small section off or were a completelly different route altogether. Will try a different route this week. Why they cant have clear signs pointing you in the correct direction is beyond me.

Brechfa! i’ll be heading there myself next week to ride the Gorlech and Raven trail! I prefer the Gorlech trail to Afan and Cwmcarn.

i could be wrong but I think you can transfer between ISA accounts without affecting your allowance for the year as long as it goes directly from one ISA to another rather than via your current account
