‘J’ is in the welsh alphabet. Never used to be but we needed it otherwise what would we call ‘jam’?

@ Captainflashheart… and it would be far more enjoyable to take England out of the tournament! (although id rather lose to france if we were to lose)

not sure if the solid defence will be enough against the likes of NZ though but who knows

Id be suprised if you didt get at least 10% off anyway with or without discount code.

the score isnt missleading at all. Irelend didt kick for goal when they should of done in the first half. Wales solid defence and played well when they had the ball. Score reflects how they played i think!

I have a Five and use it for all sorts, its the only bike I have and need. Dont notice any pedal bob, but mine is set up with a CCDB, and I find it pedals just as well if not better than my old hardtail. Its a good all rounder for UK riding but I wouldn’t buy one based on everyone elses opinions or views. Try as many bikes as you can on demo days and find one that suits your type of riding. Wont be changing mine for a while though.

thanks Trout and Andy… will have a proper look later. I did actually see your lights on some website yesterday but didt make the connection with the name.

Trout… have you got details of the lights you make/sell? Im after a set of decent lights and wondering if I should part with £320ish for the new Hope R8’s or Exposure 6pack or consider something cheaper or different.

considering mountain bike lights can cost up to £400-£450 i’d say a couple grand

EDIT: Im assuming you mean the whole headlight unit, not just a bulb

Bought the Rockhopper as a birthday present for my girlfriend and it feels a lot better quality than its price suggests. If it was a bigger sized frame id use it myself as my HT bike. Only bad thing I can say about it is the brakes arent as powerful as id expected (although they are far from bad), but then I am used to Hope V2’s with 203mm rotors. Couldn’t comment on the other bikes you mentioned though

the freeride section at cwmcarn was shut when I went a few weeks back so might be worth checking if its re-opened. if it is open, anyone know what changes they did to it?

I wasnt having a moan at individuals, (unlike some of the service personnel at the air handling unit), but nothing ever seems to run smoothly with them. Dont know the ins and outs myself but the RAF/government apparently turned down an offer from Virgin to fly all service personnel in and out of theatre in return for parking their planes at Brize. I know which trolly dolly id prefer!

dont get me wrong he’s a likeable guy, and probably a good inventor, but he’s not businessman material is he. Helen even cringed when he spoke in front of the fast food experts

I work in Afghanistan and was due to return on leave today, but theyve cancelled the flight. Probably because the onboard tea maid isnt working! It happenns 75% of the time my colleagues fly out, so its by far a one off. Oh well another night in paradise.

what the hell is tom still doing there? whats he actually done apart from mumble a few words in teh boardroom like a scared school kid? Helens got lucky with past tasks, getting high sales 2 weeks in a row but last weeks showed how good (or rather bad) she is. she does come accross well though, and is organised, but then thats what PA’s do. With a bit of guidance Suzy’s prob the most promising. Jim’s still there for entertainment, thats teh only reason he didt get fired a few weeks ago.

Maenllwyd use to do awesome food, but since new owners/managers have taken over the food is only average. still a nice place / setting out on the beer garden. Ffwrwm Ista is also ok, but still nothing special. If I was you i’d try teh Mint and Mustard, although not been there myself a lot of friends jave and havent heard anything bad yet.
