    No.

2x 2Gb sticks will give you the best combination of RAM possible on a 32-bit Windows system. You’ll lose a little (half a gig or so) for technical reasons, but it’s still your best option (assuming the hardware will support it – hence the Crucial memory checker suggestion).

I was referring to Poddy’s comment regarding 2x4gb.

before you buy loads of new RAM make sure your computer can support it. If its 32 bit I think the limit is 3 or 4 GB. Anymore will be wasted

Mrs got fed up of a filthy bike in the car and in the lounge (live in a flat) so she bought me a Mobi washer as an early xmas present and I got to say im impressed with it. Holds enough water to wash at least 4 or 5 bikes for a quick wash and has various pressure settings. Bike now gets a 3 minute hose down before it gets back in the car whick keeps her indoors happy.

My mate does it and he’s gone 30. If I was good enough I’d do it too. Do it while you still can!

Used mine last night for 1st time and very happy with it. It’s nice and small and feels good quality. Went for the endurance version so have 2x standard battery.

+1 Amsterdam American. Make sure you book a room on the canal side on 3rd floor to get a nice big balcony facing trees and the canal. Food in restaurant was lush and room prices cheap considering location. I’ll upload a balcony view later (on iPod now)

they do look pretty yes. I have a silver thomson elite which does have a nice finish on it, but will be swapped for a reverb next week but will keep it as a spare as the up and downy thing will prob break at some point

i was dissapointed with the Skyline trail as a whole although loved the final descent. Not sure i’d bother doing the full route in a hurry again but will definatelly do the final descent again if thats not affected by trail closures?

I have a nice comfy second hand leather sofa in storage (working abroad) that i would consider selling. If your interested I should be able to dig out a picture from somewhere. Was £1750 ish new. Don’t really want to sell but its costing me money in storage.

EDIT: id sell for around £900 ish (Cardiff area)
Oh and its a 3 and a 2 seater (but quite big- youd fit 4 on the 3 seater at a squeeze)

@Loco… so they havent added anything as such? Thought it was closed for improvements/additions. Ive heard guys on mx bikes up round there but not on the trail itself but wouldt be suprised if some do use the trail

If I catch someone up on a downhill section I’d normally pause for a few minutes to allow them to get to the bottom without hearing my Hope hub buzzing in their ear.
If someone catches me up (normally on an uphill) i’ll stop, pullover and let them pass

fair play takes balls to do that as its so unpredictable as to how they will react. Well deserved beer!

I work abroad for 10 weeks at a time during which my bike is always stored upside down. No issues yet, (been working abroad for over a year now). I have Hope Tech V2’s. They probably just need a bleed, there’s some videos on the Hope website if you need some pointers.

I usually jump in the car with my girlfriend, get the map out and we randomly pick out a mountain as I drive(I base mine on the highest peaks if I can). This method has worked for us everytime and as a result makes sure we see every corner of the beacons and havent had a dissapointing walk yet. Cant remember the names of them though, wish I’d started writing them down so I know which i’ve done and which I havent.
