Ive had a Crank Bros multitool for nearly 10 years now. Works nearly as good as a seperate chain breaker.

Loco- you don’t by any chance have a Reverb RH remote? Happy to pay RRP- just not many places have them in stock.

That would be perfect if it was PF30. Hopefully FSA will make it available soon as LeeW mentioned.

Do you know what brand sleeve it was? Any issues with it?

oh right so no need for Hope/shimano BB. That makes sense although I would have preferred to use some trusty Hope BB’s. Anyone used Tripeak adaptors?

yeah I’m aware of marriage. Means I get more bikes and a few trips to the alps. I may need to win the lottery first tho

My current bike has a 73mm BB, hope BB and Shimano HTII. My new frame is 73mm PF30 BB. Now if I install the KCNC adaptor will a 73mm Hope BB and standard Shimano HTII crank work? Won’t the BB width be greater than 73mm due to the adaptors?

thanks for the link Toasty. They look much better than the SRAM. Have more confidence in aluminium than plastic! I assume they will also work with Hope BB’s?

I bought an engagement ring which I use for justification for building up a custom Niner Air 9. Not sure which will have been more costly yet- probably the bike but only just

I’m in the same boat. I’ve bought a frame with a PF30 BB. It did make me think twice about getting the frame but seeing as there are adaptors out there i’d give it a go.

I want to run XT cranks so looking for the best way of fitting them. So far I’m looking at the SRAM PF30 to BSA adaptor (£24.99 on CRC).

Not sure if that’s what I’m going for yet as I’m not sure what my options are. Possibly different crankset?

Looks similar to something in my fox forks. Goes in the lowers before you slide stanchions in

I’ve been looking at Niner frames recently but there seems to be a lack of stock anywhere of the One9 that I’m after.

Have you contacted the distributors (Jungle Products)? I found them very helpful tracking down a frame for me.

Just ordered a niner air 9 alloy frame. No components yet tho

I’m considering buying the Air 9 alloy version. Anyone here got one and what do you think of it? I’ll use it as a second bike for races, more XC, longer days out etc

I’d use a small angle grinder with a diamond blade. You can cut quite accurately with them but you could run into problems if you want to make very small cuts due to size of the blade.

    Be prepared for dust though!

this happened to me. called mojo who advised using new crush washers which could help. Managed in the end to tighten properly with existing washers. make sure thread is clean and tighten crush washers as much as possible before adding bolts

what is the wall build up?

Ideally if stud the plasterboard will be the correct type e.g. Gyproc Glasroc H Tilebacker or some other proprietary tile backer board. You can tile onto this.

If solid wall you can tile onto the render.

No rubber linings required but make sure you use waterproof adhesive and finish off with waterproof grout and sealant at perimeters

Edit. FYI B Regs documents (Wales & England) can be downloaded here[/url] but I don’t think you’ll find them much use for what you’ve just asked.

If the rafters are open to allow spraying the foam breathability wont be much of an issue. I’d stay clear of the foam myself though, it’s a bodge job.

HDEW cameras are worth a look. Based in UK but sell imports. Prices were about the same (and cheaper sometimes) as DigitalRev. Bought my camera gear from them

Been tubeless over a year now and not had a puncture since. I’d never go back to tubes. Wish I’d gave converted sooner.

I used stand conversion kit and used the coke bottle ghetto inflator. Was very easy and no faff at all. Your combination if rims and tyres might be different tho.

Yes, but it doesn’t always fit depending on your setup

Depends on the spec but £6k to £8k is very dooable. Could be done cheaper if you search round for materials / fittings. For example the last bathroom i fitted out all the tiles were sourced from very high end supplier where usual retail price was in excess of £80/m was bought for under £15 to £10/m. They sometimes get return stock from larger projects which they are happy to sell on a large discounted price. The only issues being that you might have to buy all or nothing and check you have the quantities required for your bathrooms as you wont get extra stock in at the same price.

I used to prefer to be able to feel the saddle and use sideways pressure similar to how you described but these days i much prefer to get the saddle completely out of the way which allows me to move the bike under me much easier on tight technical stuff. Its up to you though how you set your dropper post up. You can still have it so its similar to your current raised / lowered seatpost positions

Ive had to have mine on the right side on top as couldn’t get it to fit on underside left hand. My setup is hope brakes on matchmakers with shimano shifters. Ive tried several times to fit on the left but just wont work without having the lever too far away

I found Garmin Basecamp easier to use. Not sure what the differences are but it does what I need it for. i.e. plot and review routes, record rides etc.

Some sections of twrch closed at the moment. They’ve been doing trail maintenance too and smoothed over some nice bumpy sections. Not sure about any new trails open yet. Plenty of trails in the local woods if you know where they are

If your budget allows id go for straitline defacto. Ive got nanos too but prefer the straitlines by far. But they are twice the price, and not sure if they’re twice as good

Black and Red joined as one loop if you want to make a day of it. You can start from either but there are two seperate car parks for each a few miles of each other.

    edit. too slow

You can have a standard pitch roof over that without any hip or overhang. The roof on plan will be the same as the shape youve shown with the ridge running lengthways in the middle.
