Just weighed a brand new hd 26″ trailstar tl-ready, super gravity tyre on kitchen scales and its 990grams. Not sure if there the same tyre as you want though as theyre a lot heavier than my RQ’s and wouldnt want these as general (everyday trail) tyres.

I have hopes and xt’s. if i had to choose one id choose hope, but xt’s are better value for money.

This is not even a warranty issue. Your lbs should refund/replace regardless of what madison say.

Oh and i think there was a similar thread a while back

Following this mornings ride mine needs tightening up. Ive removed the cap- do i tighten the silver screw which has a bolt head? (Its not an allen screw as mentioned above). Theyre xt’s btw

    You mean a true 27.5″?

Depends how you use it. I turn off the turn by turn notification and just follow the route on map. If you do this you could just follow the route up back down without changing anything.

But best way would be to plot the route on basecamp if you have the map and know the route?

I found it easy too, not sure what some people are doing to make it such hard work

I could see the point of 650b if it was bang in the middle between 26″ and 29″

Same here. Damaged my lights recently, fixed and couriered out no questions asked

1 puncture in 18 months for me and that was from a 4inch nail entering the tyre through tread and exiting next to the bead. No chance for the sealant to work and a tubed tyre would have been no different, fixed quickly with a sticky worm though. Other than that it’s been faultless.

yes, its great. I inflate mine to 60 psi

Mines a coke bottle and its gone up to 70psi fine. Think it can take a lot more

    creamegg

60psi on ghetto tubeless inflator. easy. Ive got different rims though.

This is what puts me off tubeless.

wasting time on trails is what made me go tubeless. Never looked back

And seeing as you will be claiming the trip back on expenses, he’s paid for a service that has cost you nothing.

This is irrelevant. I wouldn’t expect a retailer to refund my courier delivery charge just because the couriers also have a parcel for Mrs Jones 3 doors down.

The buyer didn’t collect therefore it was delivered

150mm min, but will depend on thickness of topsoil and ground conditions

Was thinking the same walking home from work last night. I see these
skaters nearly everyday in the same spot in town trying to do the same move/trick/stunt. They’re still as bad as they were a few weeks ago. Don’t look much fun to me trying the same move over n over n over with a fail every time.

    Beaches:
Mwnt (10 mins fom cardigan). Very good chance to see dolphins
Aberporth nice sandy beach but can be very touristy
    Tresaith: nice beach with pub/restaurant
Llangrannog: Nice beach, choice of a couple of pubs
A few other beaches between llangrannog and new quay but not much there in terms of facilities.
New Quay- good choice bars/pubs fish n chips etc

Defo mount under the bar, much easier to activate

I found the opposite. I prefer the feel of the one on top of the bars

Is it any different to the standard R4 (Ive not heard of the lightweight version).

I run one on my helmet with a Four4th on the bars. Used to just have the R4 but felt it wasn’t quite enough. Works well as with the Four4th combo though

Ended up having to mount it upside down on the right, so RH upside down on RH side.

wtf? how does that work? what finger do you use to press the button?

No idea about the lever, but eh? Is this true – I wondered why the squirrels mocked me when I fixed a puncture?

What? You don’t carry a trail bike stand in your camelback?

    creamegg

Rh remote on left hand upside down if it can fit just so its out the way. Personally i prefer the lever on the rh in terms of ergonomics but it is more vulnerable to damage. (Got 2 bikes with each setup)

mine disappeared, and were off for more than 2 years. still worked perfectly fine despite the internals being exposed to all that mud, grit and water.

Now replaced with XT which have a much nicer feel. If I have spare screws ill send them on. will check tonight when I get home

does anyone ride non-maxxis tyres on this forum?

Used to have maxxis (cant remember which). Replaced them with Rubber Queen Black Chilli front and back.

Have Mountain Kings II on my other bike. Not as good as the RQ’s so these will be changed when the time comes.

Sounds like your worms were too short? All my repairs have been faultless- used the Weldtite tubeless repair kit
