Make sure the beads sit in the recess in the centre of the rim as it will give you just enough slack to get them on

strip floor boards, investigate whats going wrong- could be rotten timbers, warped over time or the supporting wall could have subsided. Carry out remedial works as required

Hhhmmmm this seams familiar, did you post about a bad experience there in another thread recently?

There was a thread 6 months or so ago which mentioned the indian. May or may not have ommented, cant remember.

The Indian Restaurant on the main street has been most acceptable, but then it’s a few years since I’ve been.

this is a joke right? That place is the worst restaurant, of any kind I’ve ever been to.

On the plus side there’s a strava segment down the stairs to the toilets. Take your DH bike

This is why I never take my bike to a LBS for any work. Why pay someone to bodge it when you can bodge it yourself?

My girlfriends parents have an apartment in Turkey and were approached by an Australian couple who were interested in a holiday house swap via one of these websites. So they’re off for 6 weeks or so to oz in November and managed to contact a few other families who are interested in a swap so will be travelling around rather than staying in 1 place. It will be a cheapish holiday for them especially as they booked the flights early.

Im running 1×10 setup from an original 2×10. Havent used spacers and its running fine although any further may cause issues.

You may find that you cant run a 32t on a double as the chain may catch on the spider arms

Took my forks apart over the weekend. (Fox float fit rlc). Most i.e. 95% of the oil on the spring side had migrated to above the air spring. There should only be 5ml in there. Easy to drain out from the top though. Nothing complicated on the spring side just release the air first).

I think its a known issue and you can get replacement seals for them. I now have full travel- it topped out at least 30mm before

    creamegg

    You’ll get used to them

I service the seals and do the lower oil change on a regular (ish) basis. The forks are currently in bits with the air spring removed and from what i can see the forks are in good condition. Not a mark or any wear on the stanchions and the oil always cones out crystal clear. The damper adjustment knob went back in fine.

I can get my middle off (32t) with the pedals (straitline flat pedals) still on.

If you wanted a shimano xt 42t chainring ive got a new unused one that came off a triple crank that i set up as single.

You can get a replacement Reverb switch without changing the whole remote. This part alone is around £45-£50 rrp. However, you may need the whole remote assembly if you’ve scratched the bore inside- after it broke did you press the button at all as this can scratch it quite easily which causes it to leak. Whole remote assembly is around £90 I think but may get it cheaper if you shop around. Think bike components (Germany) was cheapest when I needed one earlier this year.
