I’ve found that only having a bar light means that if you have any over the bar incidents you’ll be flying into total darkness!

Of course you can. Go to your lbs or call hope. I bent one a few weeks ago.

Are you using it under the bar or above?

One bike on top, one bike under. Both have been damaged during a crash

I have two reverbs and they work perfectly with zero maintenance other than the obligatory squirt with fork juice. I just wished they’d make the remote levers more crash friendly- there must be a way of making the levers less fragile / vulnerable, or at least make the breakable parts more affordable… or maybe I should crash less often

If I was you I’d consider going to Bike Park Wales instead if you haven’t already been.

I’ve broken reverb levers which have been mounted both on top side and underside of bars so neither setup is immune from damage.

As it happens i have one on my desk which is waiting to be fixed. Heres what it looks like taken apart…

Ive repaired them before, i wouldn’t pay extra on top for someone to fix it. Only takes 10 mins

Youll be lucky if its only £50. Full remote assembly is closer to £90. Sounds like you’ve bust the remote piston so you need a replacement button kit but You may also have damaged the bore which means you need the whole lot

Edit… Reading your op again, sounds like fluid may have come out when the hose came loose so try a bleed first. You may not have damaged the lever if it doesn’t feel broke?

You won’t be able to remove the kink without loosening the connector. Loosen it just enough to rotate the hose and it won’t let any air in. What I did was twist the hose in the opposite direction so that when it was tightened up if was straight.

There’s a video on the hope website too showing how to do it their way

Even if you had a ckutch mech i would say yes. Just bought one as i got fed up of dropping the chain. Could get a thick thin chainring but im waiting to see how they pan out

I doubt the clutch would do anything. Change it to the off position if You want to check. Mine indexed just as my old mech

Buy a bottle, it will last you years, even if you service your seals as often as fox recommends (which is not required imo)

I could strip my bike down to next to nothing with just my multitool i take out on the trails. Add a 8mm and a 10mm spanner, flat screw driver and ill have my forks and brakes stripped down too.

Only bits that need special tools are cranks, bb and cassette. I like tools so i have the proper tools for those too. Although id be annoyed if i had tools that never got used just because things changed

We get our shopping delivered, and I think the re-arrangement of products and aisles also confuses the staff as we often have the wrong stuff… which we keep and get refunded for so it’s not all bad
