Try Gorsebank . We stayed in one of their timber wigwams in August for 3 days to do some of the stanes . Dalbeattie stane starts just across the back field from there . It’s reasonably priced and the facilities are excellent on site . The wigwam was really warm and had fridge , microwave , heater etc .
