Yes, a random out pouring. But if ” the legal age of consent is 16″ is your judgement  of a worthy politician (SNP granted) carry on. 2031 is a pipe dream ( no pun intended)

Good luck labour,  your #$*¥₩#. I’ve voted for every party over the last 20 years. But the opposition are currently unelectable. Iraq was the point I left labour (I’m not a party faithful fanatic of any party, that’s just ridiculous FFS). Enjoy the ride. Hope they get their shit together by 2027/31. Good luck with that at  this rate. Argue amongst your selves.

Maxis Grifter in  2.5″? They are not officially tubeless, But I’ve had mine set up tubeless for ages on some Raceface Affect wheels with stans race. They don’t loose air, will monster truck anything if the gradient is with you. Hard work pushing up hill mind.

Fossy who do you recommend in Manchester? I’ve a trapped nerve in my back (shoulder blade), I went to a physio last week who said I’ve a disc pressing against a nerve. My back feels better now (its not right though), but now my right arm aches, feel numb or I get bad pins & needles in my hand. Went to the GP who was no use. I’m not sure who I should be going to see and don’t want to wasting money getting the wrong treatment.

Moe its available on amazon for………£799 !

Honestly though, good as it is. When it went to print the publisher/printer didnt take into account the extra thick paper they used when binding it. Consequently as soon as you open it the whole thing falls apart. Its a shame as it is a good book. I took mine to get re-bound, but because the way its made, it isn’t possible. Good luck finding one

sram V shimano only about 50g. Not fussed about that, has anybody ran a mid cage GX mech on a 46t cassette.

Sram cassettes are ££££, and I can ditch my 28t for a 32t if I go 46t on the back. Chain, chainring and cassette pretty much the same as a sram cassette.

I think Forestal bikes (Cedric Garcia new brand) are planning to sell frames.

Brake fluid all the way. There is a really good GMBN Tech YouTube vid on brake setup hacks on this which is worth a look.

Mattbike, that’s exactly what I’ve been looking at. Let me know how you get on with it. I don’t intend on having a press fit BB on my next bike, so dont want to splash £44 on a one time tool (again).

If people were dropping dead after minimal exposure to asbestos. Large areas of the country would be out of bounds completely.  This is not the case. Thats not BS

    craig5

The danger with asbestos is when you have continued exposure to it. Picking a piece out the garden & putting it in a bag offers no risk, unless you eat it. Wash your hands afterwards. It’s not plutonium

You can never go wrong with a blast around Grizdale on the bridleways. Don’t bother with the north face trail. Its shit.

A mask will offer you no protection  at all. In order for it to be of any use it needs to have a very tight fit on your face and you will also have to be clean shaven. Your breathing will be so restricted cycling will be a non starter. The guys at work have to have a “face fit test”  if they are going to be doing work that requires a mask.

Ive had a similar thing on my 06 focus TDCi 1.8, and a previous 1.6 diesel focus. both times it was the turbo hose/pipe. £80 for a new one from ford, second time the garage just did a bodge job. no problems since.

I have no political allegiance to any party. They are all a shower of ****** in one way or another. I have voted tory, labour, libdem, UKIP, green (not the looney party, only because I didn’t get he option). The party that gets my vote depends on the big issue of the time, or to stop the worst of a bad bunch getting in, or as a protest vote. Its all a con anyway, governments are dictated to by corporations and banks. That’s where the decisions are made, there is no will for change, they are making plenty thank you very much. Until we can control our own banking system so it works for the people not just the banks, there will always be massive inequality.

Then in the background we have the right/left argument. Divide and conquer, split the population and let them fight among themselves. While the establishment continue as they are

I’m with Tracey, I went OTB first time out with my garmin & smashed it to bits. Now it sits on the top tube out the way of danger, using the basic handlebar mount/inner-tube/zip-tie arrangement. Looks like I’m due an upgrade

No idea what that means, but it sounds a long way off and expensive. Will it get me on the road for 1K before i’m priced out/excluded from car ownership?.
