I was looking at the Madison’s, what’s the difference between the Flux and Zenith?

Looks really good, responsive to use also. Just needs more content now, letting other people upload rides would help with that.

I’d just ride your normal bike and save that £400 for maintenance.

I’ve bought one from this guy on eBay –

I think he will more or less make anything, look at his other items if that one isn’t right for you.

It’s to lock something to. I think I have a 40L bucket handy so I may go with that. Should be around 80KG?

Can also recommend the Lidl mat, got one myself seems spot on. There’s a review on Youtube that compares it to the Alpkit.

Having had a Garmin Edge Touring Plus and recent got a Wahoo ELEMNT – I can recommend Komoot for route planning both on and off road. Though I do confess that some bridleways seem to be missing from the Komoot mapping in the UK. They do use OpenMap so some community editing would pay off for many.</span>

How does the Wahoo compare? I’ve currently got a Touring Plus and was considering replacing it.

Basically every time your new connection disconnects the speed is dropped down a little, they keep doing this until its stable.

Has anyone bought a brake set from AliExpress? This seller has M6000 brake set for £68 shipped, reviews look good to –

Thanks, the rotors say resin only so I may have to stick with Shimano I think.

I’ll keep an eye out for some M615’s on offer then. I haven’t tried new pads, would you suggest Shimano or something like Superstar / Uberbike?

I think I’ll just swap in a standard seatpost for now and see if any other great ideas come to mind.

OK thanks. I suppose I could put something under it like inner tube or tape? But then I could just attached the bag straight to the inner tube or tape. Hmmm, something to think about…

    Is it that bad?

Thanks, that Robens Vapour looks the same as the Alpkit Cloud Base. I may go for that I think.

How do these compare to Freeriders? Only ever had Freeriders but my sole has just started to split so could do with some new shoes.

Ok, I dropped the bars about 10mm and also dropped the pressure on the front to 24. Seems to feel better pushing into corners but also feels better when I’m (trying) jumping, feels like it has more pop? Didn’t expect it to have that effect but all seems good.

Thanks nwmlarge, no I haven’t had any proper coaching. Not really local to Herts though, but I know of some nearby coaches.

I’ll swap all the spacers and see how it goes. Thanks!

Yes molgrips that is where I’m having the problem.

Not sure what my cornering style is? It’s when standing I seem to be washing out. I’ll move one spacer at a time maybe on the bars and see how that goes.

Don’t have one of my on it, could get one later if it helps. Currently running the stock 60mm stem it came with. Photo is mid setup, hence no chain.

Life is really shit. I’m so sorry for you and the kids. They really are lucky to have a dad like you though, things will get better in time.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I just came across this when looking for some cheap bikepacking kit. Any feedback / long term review on this kit?

I’ve got a S/M Fox Flux which fits well, measured my head at 56cm so orderd the S/M iXS and it seemed tight around the top of my head.

Doesn’t seem to be A1’s in my size. I did order a IXS Trail RS Evo but didn’t seem to fit me right so sent it back.

Any feedback on the bluegrass golden eyes?

Just sent the IXS Trail back that I ordered as its too tight on the top of my head. I ordered the correct size my from the size guide. I’m ordering another 1 size up but can anyone recommend anything else for around £60-£80 from CRC?
