Having never ridden Macc Forest before, but being within an hour drive. Is it worth visiting and does this route look OK? (I’m near Wigan so I can get to Llandegla / Gisburn in a similar time.)

I say definitely keep it. Wrap it up and store it somewhere if you don’t want to display it.

Had one for around 8 months, apart from the remote its been spot on. Swapped the lever for the Bontrager remote and I’d say its pretty perfect now.

If you didn’t eat past 6pm and didn’t eat before 10am then it would count yes, but as you don’t, then it doesn’t no. Your fasting window is only around 14 hours, I believe they recommend at least 16 hours, I could be wrong though.

I do it everyday, if you don’t want to do it everyday then you can look at 5/2 which allows you to be more flexible for 5 days and just 2 days with quite a large restriction.

I’ve also been doing 16/8. First few days are a little hard but after a week or so I felt really good. I fast from 9pm until 1pm, going to the gym around 6:30pm I would normally have to force myself, but recently I’ve felt full of energy. I’m also restricting my kcals to around 1700, which is about a 400 – 500 deficit.

Also if I’m not hungry at 1pm I don’t eat until 2 or 3 but still stop eating at 9pm. Its surprising how much less I crave carbs / sugar since I’ve been practicing intermittent fasting.

ANyone else unable to add photos ? I just get a spinny circle thing. Thought i’d try an advert for my forks… but it’s not playing.

Sorry! I messed that post up. I meant to say I eat from 1pm – 9pm, so if I ride at 7pm I haven’t really got time to fit a meal in before I start fasting.

I’d be riding and then not eating for 16-17 hours, until I break my fast at 1pm the next day.

I use JEFIT, very customisable with apps on both Android and iOS. You can also log into the website and it all syncs nicely.

Does anyone know of a black lamp holder PIR sensor or a small black PIR sensor that could be used in an existing light? Indoor for a small room. Can’t find much that isn’t huge and looks very obvious.

Yep use the grub at each end, bonus is that you can then adjust the cable from the lever end.

Another vote for the Bontrager remote, used it to replace my Brand X one and its been spot on.

What frame was it out of interest? I have a 2017 Trance (medium) that I was hoping to fit it to.

Just bought some Endura MT500 II trousers. They seem great so far, don’t seem to get to hot either.

Bought my first acoustic about 18 months ago, Yamaha F310. Followed JustinGuitar for a few weeks then never picked it up again. Looks good though! I just don’t have any consistency when it comes to practicing, I can’t see to get into the habit of it.

The Uberbike ones do, not sure of any others.

Got a set of these Draper Experts myself as recommended from someone on here, really good for the price.
