Been fine for me in the last year or so.

I work in IT support, I find it pretty boring and have realised after 10 years that I have no interest in it. Also I don’t keep up on any tech out side of work. I kind of fell into it as I didn’t know what I wanted to do, I still don’t.

Seems to be the same as plenty of other people. I was always of the mindset that its called work for a reason and if I loved being there then why would someone pay me.

Yes the spider has threaded holes. Have I got the wrong chainring again? This is a minefield, only ever had Shimano cranks on my own bikes so things have always been straight forward.

Also had the same for a wanted ad I posted.

Ok, so I now have a 96BCD Snaggletooth ring and the tabs appear to large on this also? The holes do line up though.

I can highly recommend the Endura MT500, best jacket I’ve had.

It is a loose 18650, I’m hoping this means I’ll be OK?

I think I need more help. Are all 96BCD the same? Will this fit an FSA crankset for example?

Also as this bolts into the spider arm and not through it (opposite direction). I’ll need longer bolts I think, any idea on length? This is a lot more complicated than my Shimano cranks!

That’s what’s in the back of my mind! I’ve listed it in the classifieds and will order another up.

They look like they would line up, tempted to get the file out but if it doesn’t fit right I’ll be wishing I’d just ordered a 96 and sold this one.

I’d contact the retailer, 45 hours isn’t much for a decent front light.

    I’ll recommend what I use –

Topeak Ninja Mountain bottle cage, with storage for a Topeak mini tool.
Louri strap for tube, tyre levers and co2.
Chain link taped to brake hoses.

Not heard of them but the Microshift Advent 1×9 looks good, $125 but not sure if anywhere in the UK has them yet.

craig24. The Edge Touring sounds good then. However, it’s not advertised very clearly on the Garmin website. They show the Edge Explore but the Touring is tucked away and I could only find it with a Google search. Is it an old model? If so, is it replaced by the Explore? Cheers!

I’ve had it a few years after a recommendation on here. I’m not sure but the Explore does look similar and may well be the replacement for it. I recommend Garmin anyway, the Edge Touring has worked great for me. Only downside is its not normal replaceable batteries, so if multi-day touring it may need charging, but that isn’t an issue for me. This looks to be the case for the Explore to.

I use the Garmin Edge Touring for the same as you describe. Works perfectly for me, just a few settings to change out of the box.

Thanks mboy, great info. Sounds like a really good deal, I’ll keep an eye out in summer if I’m not sorted by then.

Thanks for the photos chakaping, seems like everyone is happy with their Exposure lights. Should have my joystick in a few days so I’ll use it with my BT40s while I keep an eye out for a well priced Maxx D or Toro.

I think it’s hard to beat the Edge Touring absolutely wonderful machine for routing and should be able to pick up cheap on Ebay.

Second this, very happy with mine.

I run one, as everyone else states, they just feel a bit nicer.

Workscomponents ones at £25 have also been good for me.

Rotors should be fine if you use the same adapters / brackets. May need shorter bolts as I think the Elixirs used washers, someone else maybe able to clarify?

Blaze user here, works great for me. Syncs my rides with Strava, logs my gym workouts / spin classes. Have had the issue with it pausing like smokey_jo mentions but I just put it on tight and a little further away from my wrist and haven’t had the issue since.

You can go visit a place and see it with your own eyes, meet the people, forget politics for a few days. People are still people, they don’t all agree with their government, just like we don’t. That’s my opinion anyway.

Clayton Vale and Philips Park are going to be your closest. You can link together the blue’s and red’s at Philips with some other bits and get a decent loop together.

Darwen Moor is good also, bit quieter compared to Rivi, something like this

Cheers everyone, think I’ll order some new rotors then. I assume better rotors I can use with sinitered pads will also work with resin pads?
