Used to give blood quite a bit back when I was a student. Myself and my housemates used to give blood and go straight to the boozer. Cheap night on the lash ensued. Halcyon days.

I had the same problem with my Xt lever. Lbs got me a spare lever from madison – went to pick it up and was told it was £40, exactly the same rrp as the full lever assembly. Needless to say I didn’t buy.

Deore all the way for me.

Cheap as chips and last an age. Difference in weight is far from a deciding factor given current riding conditions.

I’ve got one you can borrow for a couple of weeks so you bleed your brakes if you want?

Laces nice and loose. Is it a case of runnIng conditioning that I just to suck up and wait till I’m the epitome of athleticism?

Saw Orbital at Leeds O2 last year and was absolutely blown away. Whether you’re a fan of that sort of music or not, you couldn’t fail to be impressed with them.

Ianv – halcyon days. Many wild nights in the Orbit.

Got a Drafter here and am very impressed. Same size bladder as the Nomad but a smaller pack. Still loads of space in there. Very well thought out in comparison to the Camelbaks.

Excellent bit of kit and one of the best upgrades I’ve ever made.

Once you’ve tried one you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it.

Still, incredibly expensive for what they are really.

Kung Fu Panda & Monster Inc are my favourites at the moment.
Agree with Goonies and Uncle Buck from way back when.

Really enjoyable vid. And bizarrely, and rather tenuously, David Knights old man used to fix my cars!

I know it’s not ‘mine’…yet, but this is the one I am planning to have installed in a few months or so…….

    (in blue though)

It’s nearly as exciting as getting a new bike!

Any idea of the make and model of this one please Little Bunnygirl? We’re currently shopping for a new wood burner and Mrs C kind of likes the look of this.

I managed to split my Stans tape after getting a mahoosive nail in my tyre.

After seeking advice from the STW masses, I was told to wrap a few layers of electrical tape round.

So I did, and 6 months later it still holds air fine.

    Amtico or Kardean.

Much warmer than laminate and as others have said comes with a silly guarantee. And if you do **** a strip or two up over time, its easy to remove and replace the offending items.

Wasn’t there a guy on here who’d managed to fit a grease port to his XT? Being able to re-grease and service is surely the way forward.
Oh, and CK for the win.

Miss out the middle man and give Mojo a call.
Provided you have original receipt they’ll sort it in double quick time.
I know it’s evans responsibility but they’ll just send it back to mojo anyway and take twice as long to sort it.
Mojo are generally pretty good with this sort of thing.

If you’re looking for a bike thats gonna last the next 10 years then a Meta would be serious gamble.
Great bikes when they’re not broke.

I bought full drivetrain and forks for my hardtail from Dave Hindeonce upon a time. All arrived within 48 hours of ordering. Pleasure to deal with if memory serves, although I understand I may be one of the lucky ones.
