Honda will dominate,Yamaha will push,Ducati will be bringing up the rear and Rossi will retire at the end of this season…Cal is on borrowed time, without some good results he will go mid season. Its all getting to be a bit of a procession.

Real “northerners” just get on with their riding without feeling the need to video and publish it.Please don’t think we are all video star gobshites…

    “Free” you say…
So who pays for the fitting labour, dealers ?
    “upgrade”…
“Hotlines are not concerned…have seen room for improvement”
I would be very concerned: about remaining stock, brand name and design team.
Any failure of a part in the same place,no matter how small the number, indicates a design failure.
I would say its the least that Hotlines could do!

Slightly off topic I know, but are the batteries getting any more efficient?
Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t an “average” AA battery only return about 3% of the power used to fully charge it…

I pootle in all walks of life, very happy to do so.Don’t feel the need to put the hurt on anybody or have a need to measure myself against others…I do ride on my own a lot, which is perhaps quite significant!

Makes me look stupid, took at least 10 years before I could tackle most jobs to a high standard as an apprenticeship/time served joiner.Go for it,you will have plenty of spare time on your hands!I’m self employed and have averaged 3 day weeks for the last 2 years.

go for it…and tell us what you think.I’m sure fork rake has evolved on 29″ specific forks over the last few years, what changes and why I don’t know.I’m thinking of doing it but am more concerned with raising bb height and as you say, toe overlap.
If it “kinda worked”, what are your reservations?

    worth the money?
    No
Managed to split 2 pairs at the sole and upper joint in the heel area, whilst still having a relatively unworn sole. The worst shoe I have ever bought in terms of longevity.Check out Downhill forums for more of the same.
I race bmx and find them really heavy to spin up compared to skate shoes and they feel heavy at the end of a long xc ride.
Feet First,Sheffield, do a resoling service that includes the pimpled 5.10 rubber.Finding a better constructed and lighter shoe that is compatible with their technique is my next step…

I am a builder and suggest that it is more than likely condensation if its opposite this air brick.I am assuming you have a cavity wall?
Older houses weren’t meant to contain the levels of heat modern living requires.
If the wall has had cavity wall insulation or improperly fitted wall ties (original or “new”) this may cause bridging between the two skins, otherwise any water that enters or is absorbed by the outer skin falls to the bottom of the cavity and is removed, via air bricks, by evaporation.
The gravel isn’t the best of ideas, but ain’t the worst:it doesn’t raise the effective ground level as water drains straight through…

Two pairs here, Switch hubs with xc and am rims plus one Switch Tank DH rear.Tensioning was quite uneven when they arrived though they were straight and true…evened out the tension and they have been fine. Rear Tank has developed play in the bearings after not much use but I guess that is where they cut corners on the price…easy to replace with better quality and you have a silly cheap set of wheels if you buy them “on offer”. As much as I dislike the owner after first hand dealings, I have to praise them for their value

I think saddle soreness will be your biggest problem. I tend to get it on long canal jaunts, but use a hardtail or rigid s/s. The riding is almost all in the saddle, perhaps a use for suspension?
    Good luck…

Perhaps there is a limit as to what you can sell coil and oil damping for,and still be able to look people in the eye.
