Purchased some recently to replace some Hope monos and I’m impressed thus far

I’m 6ft2 and ride a large Covert, there are occasions when it has felt a bit small, but swapping the stem for a slightly longer one, and adding a reverb it’s perfect

I’ve done both in a day before, if you don’t mind the drive in between, will get dirty at Swinley too and you have the sand to contend with, but both are good rides

I bought them late last year, believe they are 2012 versions, found the different kits and reckon it’s the other one I need, not just the Caps.

Granted it doesn’t say to remove axle, but honestly had I not taken the 20mm one out I’d not have been able to fit anything

Can confirm it’ll work, I had a Fox Rp23 190×51 on my Covert, replaced with a Marzocchi 190×50 and it’s perfect

Ash when did you order yours from CRC? Seems incredible deal, I’ve got a set lined up 2nd hand for £450 but now you got me wondering…

Always lusted after a set back when I couldn’t afford them, then when I could they were one of the 1st bits of kit on the build list, loved them but didn’t like the continual adjustment when bedding them in. Excellent hubs don’t get me wrong and I do still somewhat regret selling them on….

Was all to do with getting the gearing right, having one large ring the size needed to get to the speed would have been impossible to spin

Running a 1×10 setup with an XTR clutch mech, e13 chainring and no guide, not dropped a chain yet

Looking forward to it, and will defiantely be attempting to get some longer time in the saddle as a build up

I have Schwalbe Hans Dampf on my ZTR Flows and have had no issues, very tight fit
