Pinnacle ramin are super cheap at mo frames only

You’d struggle to break an inbred 29er frame for a cheap alternative

Security is great fella. Bike doesnt budge. The clamp turns with a dial and keeps bike secure.. the straps help it not move at all. Did 3 hours today with two on my roof.

Probably my favourite non-bike bike related thing I own! Cant recommend enough.

I saw it boxed up the day I went in. Sid was telling me to buy it as it was right up my street. Didn’t hang around long. Great shop and staff.

Whoever above said there’s no 19″ there’s a new frameset on eBay at the moment.

Pork scratching was that from Soanes by chance? Very nice.

Robdob .. If it ain’t broken and all that. My experience of alloy or steel forks I’d happily sacrifice weight and go steel

6″ 1-2″ large frame a bit of seatpost showing but not a giraffe neck amount

Headtube is tapered normal I think. Search on here loads of chat about what to order headset wise.

    Great bikes

Have we confirmed a normal on one parkwood takes 650b+? Seem to recall a picture on their facebook page or on here but might have dreamt it?

You don’t want to plusgas the seattube – it’ll contract and hold the post even tighter.

Lost me on this? Plusgas will dissolve the bond bewteen alu seatpost and steel frame. Wont contract anything.

Needs plenty of time though. Leave it a few days but keep topping it up.

That looks real nice. How are you finding the size?

Personally i also prefer the simplicity of horizontal dropouts over an EBB.
A saving of £200 is enough to buy some nice finishing kit.

I’d agree with this. But they are both great frames.

    More standover I guess

Looks much nicer than hydroforming I reckon

The one near Collumpton I wouldn’t touch. (ICS Poweder Coating). Uneven finish, poor sandblasting of paint so it showed through, blobs of paint etc. They wouldnt do anything about it when I complained and just said “we are industrial what did you expect”.

First choice in Exeter on the other hand are superb. Would recommend them 100%. They will be between £60-£90 depending on what you have done. http://www.1stchoicefinishes.co.uk/

You’ve not been looking hard enough, I just got a second-hand one this lunch.

There’s a full build on pinkbike too.

Now I just need some 120 or more forks

Was yours a medium by any chance?

I look on eBay, have had wanted ads up here and search weekly on the usual like pinkbike, not seen a large, which is what I need.

The one on Pinkbike is a full build which i’m not keen on and overpriced i’d say at £900. There was a full bike on here but seller wouldn’t split which is fine, and one on ebay a month back that I put an overthetop bid on but seller pulled it.

Ragley Bigwig? Not sure you can get them new anymore but a second hand frame would be peanuts.
    http://ragleybikes.com/products/bigwig-frame/

Does give away 1lb/500g to the sherpa and solaris though but not found the weight a problem.

Think Chain reaction must have had the last, and they sold out around Christmas. I have tried everywhere for one without luck. New or second hand.

Not going to buy a fat bike so nothing to hold on for.. but they are looking better these days. That’s nice too (and slidy dropouts is a bonus)

I always thought the lurcher was ugly and then I saw one in the flesh and that removed any remaining doubt.

    Ltd company.

If you have private usage then if company buys outside C2W scheme then taxed as a benefit in kind. Deductible as cost against corporation tax but if retained at later date deemed proceeds and brought back into corporation tax charge.

Schemes are easy enough to set up, just Google it if not sure or give your accountant a two minute call.

Phoning HMRC is pointless as you aren’t a sole trader and the corp tax line won’t give you an answer.

+1. Mine’s been an awesome cheap buy so far. Doing a 200mile+ ride at the weekend on mine, I’ll let you know if I die or not.

How will you let us know if you die? :-)

I have bought, after a recommendation on here a DS25 rim – its a lovely piece of kit and built up without any issues.

Just got one of these last week after a recommendation on here and the speed of delivery was quality. The rim itself seems really well made I can’t fault them at all.

    Jamesco whilst you are here..

Will you be selling any of these as frames only? Had some six months back for stupid price. See you have the red and black but it frame and forks im after really.

Then its a toss up for this or wait for the 650b+ you showed last week!
