Have an iXS Trail for also a year now. Love it. Fit’s my head great, comfy and BLUE. Has a long visor, took me a wee while to get used to it in my vision, but don’t even notice it now.

Well, it is all about what you prefer after all. I had a DW link 5 Spot. Great bike. Hideous rear end. Still loved it though. Mainly as I couldn’t see the rear end when on it…

Don’t want it remade, I just want to play it again. Loved this game.

The only confirmed plan is The White Room once again in September. That’ll do for starters,

No for me. But then I’m all about black rims, stems, bars etc etc. Hate coloured parts scattered over a bike, looks gash. But that’s just me.

My carbon Thomson bars, just look so lush. Which is a MASSIVELY sad thing to say. It’s just a frickin’ handlebar.

Most of the people I know are pretty bloody annoyed about it and have put off buying bikes because of it.

Hasn’t effected anyone I know. One bought a 26″, two others a 29″ and I bought a 27.5″. Really feel people are getting their knickers in a right twister over this personally.

As everybody is getting their knickers in a twist about wheel sizes (for about the 1,000,000th time…) IF your 26″ wheeled bike snapped or was stolen or whatever. What would you go and buy?

5′ 6″ small Pivot Mach 6. They also do an extra small too.

I peel it off. Someone once told me if you are struggling to get it to come off, peel in the opposite direction and then does it. Tried it and it did indeed work!

Well, I wasn’t going to get it for my new bike, but the demo bike had it and I was totally won over. I am aware of the cost of replacing parts, but I bloody love it just having the one ring at the front and a range of gears at the back which get me up and down everything I point it at. Only the really steep stuff going up stop it. Or rather me as I run out of puff.

The only other option would be to go the DWL route but with so many variations now on the DWL its no longer as niche or “sexy” as it once was.

What? It’s a suspension link. Sexy? Seriously? Man, people type some weird shit on here sometimes.

Did most of a lap, knew some of the other bits so didn’t bother. When I do the March in, I’ll do a full lap I reckon and never ridden there (where ever it will be) before probably.

Doing them both. Did K&Q last two years, bloody brilliant day. Lots of climbing, but great descents.

Dunno if they are sought after or not, awesome bike though, but took me months to flog my frame. Got £375 for mine. Less than what I wanted, but was the only price that finally came up.

Try a Pivot Mach 6. I bloody love mine. But pb2 wasn’t so taken with it, so best thing to do is demo all you can, different stokes for different folks and all that. I demoed the Mach 6 and wanted it right away.

I’ll admit I’m an Apple man, mainly because I’ve been working with them for my entire working career starting with OS7 I think, so the only system I know really. Would never say they are perfect, but I’ve never had what I would can major problems with their kit or systems. Admittedly Maverick was gash, but still worked. iOS8 and Yosemite have been awesome for me so far. On my Mac and home and work and iPhone 5 and 6 and my iPad.

Thing I find is all these new products whether Apple or Samsung or Sony or Microsoft (I’ll admit, I hate their products I’ve used) are all trying to ram so much new tricks and gadgets into them, probably find about 90% of them we never actually use.

Well thats annoying. Always found them horrible looking bikes (not to mention Ellsworth himself seems a right bellend) but that is actually alright.

You may just have no interest in it any more. Can happen. It’s not the end of world, plenty other stuff to do other than bikes. No point forcing yourself as you’ll probably end up losing even more interest.

Had loads of trouble with older headsets, went the King route years ago and never bought any replacements. Headset’s have some on leaps and bounds now for sure, but I still chose King as I know what I’m getting, it works and just keep working.

    Her – brilliant film.
    Calvary – another brilliant film.
Silver Linings Playbook – just utterly brilliant.

Got the Peatlands 15 mins from the house which is ace for a quick blast. But spend most of my time 30 miles away in the Tweed valley. So much amazing stuff down there that Peatlands just can’t compare with.

‘Dancing with Blue Jean’ though, now that is proper shite, no two ways about it.

That’s a bit narrow minded IMO.

I love Bowie. One of my heroes (pun intended). But that song is utter gash.

I’d rather be nearer Innerleithen and Glentress out of the choice. Depends on what kind of riding you want to do.

@moshimonster couldn’t agree with you more, hence why I waited 4 months for a small black frame to become available! They ride awesome, love it, such a hoot to rattle about on. Was brilliant in the Alps in September.
