Fair enough. I’d never have weighed a pedal though. Mind you I’ve never weighed any bike part.

You weighed the pedals? Man, some folk take all this bike stuff far too seriously.

Everything I order for CRC usually turns up the next day. So they are still fine by me. Just saying like.

Now I’m confused with the names now.

S&L goes from spooky wood to deliverance climb?
BT from Ewok to the bottom ponds taking a pretty much straight line?

Those ^ are not what I think they are, but what you lot have made it sound like.

SnL starts near the start of Spooky Wood. Pops out on the Blue which then leads to the start of BT which pops out on to Deliverence climb up near the top.

I accept. No body armour at GT is my first new law.

Not got much in the way of aliens, but Micheal Marshall Smith’s ‘Only Forward’ and ‘Spares’ are two of my most fav sci-fi novels.

I also noticed that the pros weren’t wearing no body protection!!??

You don’t have to wear all the stuff you know.

The White Room highly recommended. Was there for the third time back in June. Awesome trails and awesome food!

If you do glentress, link to the red from the radio mast on the black and session spooky woods.

Ot just keep doing the black. Spooky Wood is over rated. The Boundry Trail is so much better. Then go even better and play at Innerleithen, so many amazing trails there if you go a looking.

Why do the Orange Five threads attract the dick heads?

Bit harsh that, he only asked what colour his new filing cabinet should be.

At least it will not be a monotone, overpaid talentless footballer, it will be someone who has worked uber hard and gained the respect of the British public.

    🙄

The White Room. Lift was open only one day at Les Arcs and the rest was van and Landrover assisted.

From June. Was awesome as always.

Sky Sports was free last weekend and I watched it on Sky, was fine, but felt like they were over analysing everything. Found it all a bit boring having a whole channel for it. Didn’t watch all the practise sessions, have no interest in watching all that. And while I’m having a grumble, Damon Hill and Johnny Herbert were a bit crap too.

Wow. What a video. Someone riding a bike with stupid big wheels up some steps. Breathtaking. Watch out Danny Macaskill 😐

Yeah, did some Les Arcs DH a month ago, was good, but much prefer all the super tight, steep, rocky, rooty, switchbacky stuff in San Foy, Tigne, Les Arcs, La Rosiere that’s what tickles me into giggles.

But I agree, the sun made such a difference to the constant pishing rain we’re getting just now…

I’ll be going nowhere near the Pentlands for a while either, will just be a complete boggy mess just now.

Hmmm. Can’t say Morzine is somewhere I’ll be going on the bike. Not my style of riding all those wide open tracks.

Thule roof rack is the best option. Was always a pain taking the boot lid rack on and off, so much easier with the roof.

    @coogan, aren’t HR’s quite abit draggier?

I’ve used them for years and now the new versions. Never really found them draggy. Had to do a couple of long tarmac climbs a few weeks back in the Alps and they seemed fine. But then, I’m never the fasted climber anyhow as it’s soooooooo dull.

I was off the bike for about 3 months when I bust mine. It’s sore, it’s sucks breaking it, but just give it time to heal. You’ll be back on the bike in time for summer… whenever that arrives…

I’d just be sending my CV out all over the place, you never know if something has just become available when your CV lands. Defo, get a wee website/tumblr blog or something so show off your work at a click. Links to other work you’ve been inspired by etc.

Jobs on here too, not sure if any are still available, but worth a look?
