I’ve had HL and DW versions. And the HL was the best looking one. And old Konas? They ‘borrowed’ the design, in fact rebadged Turners years back for racing if I’m right.

I wondered if it might turn up as a carbon 27.5.

Sad indeed. Was considering a new one for my new frame, but not now. Selling my old DW 5 Spot frame as well.

On MTBR, Dave Turner said nobody wanted them anymore. All 27.5 and 29ners requested. Apparently had 25 5 Spot frames at discounted prices and only got one enquiry.

Thought about 11 speed for the new bike but one look at the prices for spares put me right off. 2×10 for me thanks.

That included two or three (can’t remember) layers of varnish.

Oh and that also included some of the old boards needing replaced. Pretty bloody good price I thought!

Got mine redone in March. Think it was £850 I paid for living room, hallway, box room and kitchen. Look lush.

Thinking I might have to do a clean install, been a while since I did one.

The regularity of these OS releases is becoming a joke these days. Settle on something already!

Eh? Been a while since the last Mac OS update.

Skype works fine on my iMac at home with Maverick though.

Not website work. Print and retouching work. Copying files over with problems seem to be on the bigger files. Usually Photoshop, but then that’s the software that creates the bigger files in here usually. Although I did copy over 4.5GB of work in a folder. That had InDesign, PhotoShop (TIFF, PSDs etc) and Illustrator files within it, and that all copied over fine, which did make me work if it was because it was in a folder? Might start doing that as a test and see what happens.

how much is MBR or singletrack? 4.50 / 5 quid a pop, every month.

privateer / rouluer is 9 quid, every two months.

    do the maths.

£9 for one mag. £9 for two mags. Maths for me says £9 for two mags.

Used to for years. Then started using the index finger. No idea when or why I did, just noticed it on a ride and it stuck.

Had Straits and used the Fox Launch in Spain this year, were great and very comfy. But sweaty, but it was flipping roasting!

And the cyclist is still a bell end for going the wrong way down the road. Got what he deserved quite frankly.

Yes, he should have checked, which he admitted. But what a bell end for cycling down the wrong side of the road. These stupid folk really get on my nerves.

Could be your hamstrings. I get lower back pain and a physio told me my hamstrings are stupidly tight, so were pulling at my lower back. A few painful physio sessions later, they were sorted. But still tighten up every now and then.

They can, bit of extra hard work involved, but used my old one on a couple of pedally XC routes in Whistler.

I just do loads of spin classes and running at the gym. Spin classes made a big difference fitness wise I’ve found.

Love riding my bikes, but it’s not the main thing I do. Would get bored of it if my life completely revolved around the bikes. Lots of other stuff I like doing too.
