Pivot Mach 6. Ordered the frame 3 months ago. On it’s way now though as far as I know. Worth the wait!

My arms are still getting over from the brake pump/rocks/more rocks/more bigger rocks from last October.

SLX worked fine for me in the Alps and Spain, great brakes. Deore meant to be just as good, but never used them personally.

That is pricy. Its what put me off getting a Bronson. Im getting a Mach 6 with pretty much the spec spec as their Santa Cruz Bronson Carbon XX1 AM. But mine is working out about £800 cheaper.

Got the snapped key out and jammed a screwdriver in it and force opened it. I can confirm that the Thule locks are shit! Didn’t take much pressure to turn it.

Very good. New Zealand is my next planned big trip. Just back from a 5 days in Dubai and over 3 weeks in Australia. After watching that video, it hasn’t helped my holiday blues mind you!

Taco as the frame has ISCG05 mounts and don’t think you can fit a bash to SRAM XX1? Could be wrong, plus the Taco is kinda hidden away.

Has anyone ever though of going to the Alps to do any proper riding, ie not just going up lifts for a week?

Do you mean bike park ski lifts? Or being driven up as far as you can go and then riding all day in ‘backcountry’ as White Room do. Option two is what I do. Sometimes the lift is thrown in to get us to where we need to go. But I don’t do just the ski lifts and parks for a week, nowt wrong with that, just not my thing. Want to do and see all this:

Always try and get a test ride personally. Had a Pivot Mach 6 all weekend and promptly ordered it after i fell for it big time. Would much rather test ride a bike before blowing a stack of cash on it!

Does absolutely nothing for me personally, but that don’t stop it being a lot of bike for £2.5k.

Already done this and awaiting new frame. With new… everything.
