I common theme by the looks of it! What’s a better non-zip breaking option??

It’s a bloody lovely looking frame and almost exactly what I am looking for once I decide to get a new frame. But… £3300? That made my cheeks almost touch on then inside I took in such a deep breath.

Hmmm. I may just leave it be then!

Never been a massive fan of their beers. It’s good, but doesn’t blow me away.

This on the other hand, Williams do awesome beers!

I’m liking it so far. Towards the end of the last series of TG it started to get a bit better… mainly as Evans was getting pushing further and further off camera. I’ve always liked Chris Harris so it’s good to see him get a bigger project to work on.

The Grand Tour was… meh, much like the last series of TG. Far too over scripted, and trying too force the jokes today too much, Hammond got right on my nerves, but it did have some good bits, but too many meh/bad bits. Best part I remember was the GT40 documentary that May did. But then he’s always been my fav one. Will see how they adjust it for the new series. But for now, TG is better option for me.

Probably! I know I was last night. Made it to work with no punctures and didn’t find them as heavy or draggy as folk were saying, but then maybe what they replaced were also as heavy and it’s just what I’m used too!

I never, ever, ever, ever want to have to do that again. Thank you and goodnight.

Hmmm. have order the Pluses and was in a meeting and now seen all the comments about them being draggy and heavy! Ah well, time will tell. It’s a 6 mile each way commute, but come the lighter evenings I tend to a longer ride home, so might be a pain for that!

Although, love this video of Thunderstruck live in Brazil. Especially at 1.56 when the drums kick in and the whole audience bouncing in one. :)

Always got to be Bon Scott. And this is my fav AC/DC song, RIFF RAFF. Just batters along from start to finish. Ace all round.

It’s all about what you prefer as far as I’m concerned. Used to use clips, then tried flats and prefer them. But have done alps trips with mates and it’s spilt between flats and clips as each prefers one or the other. Always fancied trying clipped in again off road to see how I’d find it after years on flats! Still clip in for commuting.

Watched the first 4 and pretty ‘meh’ for me. Has some great bits in it, but so much tosh for my liking. Hammond is very irritating, May seems like he doesn’t really want to be there and Clarkson’s just shouting louder really. Wish they would bin all the over staged scripts and get back to the three of them just chatting and having a laugh. Old Top Gear went then same way at the end. Once Chris Evans was removed I quite liked the new Top Gear and over all Grand Tour isn’t massively better just has more money thrown at it. Much more.

I thought it was a brilliant film… but not one I wanted to watch again. Hard going film!

Best place in Edinburgh as far as I’m concerned is Di Giorgios. Best egg benedict I’ve had in Edinburgh, superb smoothies and fabulous coffee. Everyone I’ve taken there loves the place. Highly recommended.

Website being built, but gives you the address: http://digiorgios.co.uk

Looks very lush to me. I’m hoping he may churn out a carbon 5 Spot. That would make me very happy indeed. And I’ll be honest, I like the fact he keeps the external cabling. My Pivot has internal, looks nice, but fiddly when changing things around.

They do some nice bikes, but they seriously need to sort out the colour schemes they choose. They pretty much all look dreadful.

I’ve read this thread and get the feeling that a lot of you are just trying to bully the guy. He’s come on here and given his thoughts, explained his position etc.
What do you think it will achieve by repeating the same comments over and over?
    What will make you happy?
Are you happy that you could have potentially ruined the sales of this bike with all this negativity?

Some of you come across as complete tosspots with your opinions on how he should run his business and marketing. I bet you wouldn’t be so rude if you met him in person. If you’re so wonderful and knowledgeable set up your own bike company and try to be successful.

It’s just a new bike for God’s sake, it really isn’t that important. You either like it or you don’t.

This is my exact thoughts as well. Some folk on here really need to get a grip.

What an absolute nightmare. I’m amazed they are even still in business quite frankly, they have such a horrific reputation and clearly seem not to care. Even if the best bike ever, I’d never touch anything from them because of this attitude towards people! It’s disgraceful.

More than fine. Always run them and never fail me over in the alps. I just run the EXO ones.

Tried one in the Dubai desert, was fun. Don’t want one though and they do look ridiculous overtime I see one. But hey, different strokes for different folks, so long as you’re having a larf, go for it.

So far this is even worse than last week. I can now officially say I can not stand Chris Evans. He is so far up his own arse he’s practically inside out.

Every pair of CB pedals I’ve had died. Two sets of Eggs, a set of Mallets and their flats. No idea why I kept buying their garbage products. So I stopped.

@UncleBob – Grand to hear and see it’s still going strong, was a great wee bike when I had it. Been through a few Turner 5 Spots, Santa Cruz’z and Dialled bikes since then! Now bouncing down hills on a Pivot Mach 6.

I love getting out for a ride, but can’t understand if yer legs are fecked, let them heal! You’ll just make it worse. Missing a few rides is hardly the worse thing in the world. Or to some, it seems it is.

@UncleBob, I do believe that’s my old Superlight! You’re in Glasgow right? I was just thinking I didn’t have any old pictures of my old one.
