You enter early, get at the front of the qualifying heat and just pass the mincers.

Lunge, yeah, HT is OK but it’s a really long DH track with the odd climb or flat bit so will be painful. I’d only attempt it on a HT if you are very confident and ride DH a bit on a HT. It’s really tough on the arms, but not that technically difficult.

New tyres with strong side walls are best, but I’ve converted old Highrollers with no problem. You simply fit a 20″ inner tube, split it open with scissors, fold it over the rim. Fit your tyre as normal (use soapy water to help). Fill tyre with 100ml of sealant through the valve. Inflate with air compressor or CO2 cart! And hope for the best…

Not really tried many in it but most bikes will go in normally but longer wheel base ones are a tad long, but you just turn the bars a bit. Think I’ve got 4 in like that before. 6 should be possible with pedals and front wheels removed. But it’s a work van so don’t use it for transporting bikes.

From my experience of the surgery and rehab I think it’s silly that animals are even offered this… sorry, their owners are offered it. Having a torn ACl doesn’t stop you doing 90% of activities, doesn’t hurt except when your knee actually gives way.. and when that happens you soon learn to hold back. Dogs are smart enough to do the same!!!

The “clicking” is more likely coming from damaged cartilage. Mine stopped after a year or so.

The surgery is going to cause a hell of a lot more distress and suffering than the lack of an ACl.
