kirk pacenti..the guy whos pushing 650b really hard and makes a lot of the stuff or at least designs a lot of the stuff…has a website over at bikelugs.com

ell tell park your car there again….and i will come and take a picture of your car ..its pretty much amount to the same as me saying you owe me money for your car being parked there..

they will send you letter after letter and like mentioned above they rely on people getting scared and not knowing where they stand with the law..

dont worry and definitely dont respond

ignore it ..head over to pepipoo it will tell you exactly how to deal with it..it all revolves round ontractual terms and as such that based on the fact they have a sign up

you as the ownered registered keeper have therefore according to them entered into some form of contractual agreement.

firstly they have to prove you were actually driving

they cannot ask for driver details at the time like the police can as they have no powers to do so and if they suggest they do this can then be reffered to the police

no proof = no contract + tell them to go take a running jump..in fact just put f off in 144 point helvetica on the letter to them

..ive had the same with parking enforcement ltd in sheffield who change their name regurlaly .they manage a property of a friend who lives in a…similar thing gated flats etc

similar thing happened to a mate of mine on a lads holiday in magalluf

the tosser got up the next day and actually complained 5 rather fine birds (well one was a bit ropey iirc) from the downstairs appartment had tied him to a sun lounger…with his own socks and basically had their way with him..

its an alloy steel with its main alloying elements being chromium and molybdenum and a few other minor elements thrown in

stainless is an alloy steel too but it needs to exceed 11-12 percent or so chromium content to be considered a true stainless steel again other alloying elements make other types of stainless steel for example nickel

ti bolts from sram probably come from the same place the SSC ones come from which if you look hard enough on the TBG could be one of about 10 cheese factories

you get what you pay for and if its forged heads and rolled threads you put your hand in your pocket…the tasty nuts ones arent from chiwan though and are plenty tough for most folks even though you pay a bit more for them

15 years ago it was bad erosion wise and that includes the bogs
i suppose in the inrerests of keeping it usable something was needed eventually..god forbid if a rambler fell over on a non paved walk in the great outdoors

however back then was when it really was a good ride and it was as good as anything else out there in the peaks…now…in my opinion its been tamed down so much itdoesn't quite make the B list

far more interesting stuff a bit further down the road if you can find it

wasn't there a guy who managed to cream about 40k out the banks in loans and student whatevers

    dont get a student loan

screw the banks…eventually they will return the favour

get through UNi comfortably on banks money

petition for bankruptcy at court the morning you graduate…

potter round oz for a year till bankruptcy is up (only a year now)

come back to job (maybe)save money till economy is back on its feet will take about 5 years and by then credit record will be clean

unlike some folks who are still bending over for the pleasure of their education

if i had known then what i know now??

its not a loaded topic i am a witness the two things i saw were chance legstrong doing warp speed past me and abit further down the road the interaction of two bodies involved in the process of rapid deceleration

i was always told undertaking was naughty on the motorway but admittedly i think everyone has done it once or thrice

it were GU Ibiza where dom mixmag said sasha was doing trance and it was more upbeat on cd so you could call it that

both of those cds San francisco and Ibiza are in my special listen to still box

i think a lot of people missed the boat when carbon was bandied about
its primary association is with lightweight thingies
when thingies get lighter they suffer from stuff that people like to complain about when it goes pop

    compositepro

I always associated sasha and digweed with progressive but then everyones experience is different i suppose…
I have some cds …the dj culture ones from when seaman shasa and diggers were all playing at shelley's and its house music..or at least it was then.

got to agree they did go off the deep end with their moody music which was more a result of the look who we are we can play anything mentality of djs at that time

i have a soft spot for its all gone wrong at the moment and i would have shuddered to say that…erm….back in the day!!!

amazing how peoples genres and classifications vary

for me the seminal trance cds were the gatecrasher series ..black ..red and wet beng the final one before trance went boom and everyone just made records

its just like the OP said… one track they like or remember and probably think the rest is tosh

i like the word better it always defines the….erm reason wh things are better…personally i think the only people allowed to use the word better are honda…because theyre adverts say everything is better

one day someone should really do something about all the hubub around carbon and the old wifey tails

funnily enough do it right and a flint will not really do anything to carbon at 30 mph surprising really…we did some stuff that goes on the bottom of rally cars once and i was sure there was some design requirement about rocks and speed in it…its a bit like bernie ecclestone …..misunderstood

you need to watch the on-one pages… I hear such a beast may one day exist …but might exist already in a slightly not show the public form.in someones wine cellar…..granted it wont be a santa cruz but it will be a hard hitting indestructable plastic bike

sasha was a legend back in the day…yes mixmag once said you reach an age when you say back in the day and your officially an old git…i remeber a load of us getting a flight to new york to see him and digweed …the americans were a bit bemused i think

a long time ago i was very into dance music seems Gatecrasher cds are what you need or maybe some global undergorund cds if your on a journey through different more melodic stuff …i remember gatecrasher well …a long time ago it all started in a little club well it was an arch painted gloss black …but they were cool clubs…beneath the arches in sheffield before it hit the big time you could often see turned away people clambering up the viaduct down the wicker…. running along the railway lines before dropping down the 30 foot wall round the back..It got big then and too comercial and about the time paul van doodad arrived on the scene maybe in 2000 i think

oh then there was the music factory…anyone remember the music factory

oh shit then there was renaissance

    im old….

oh theres a guy called max graham from canada who does some great podcasts but really anything by paul oakenfold works too
