If you develop things for bikes all those brakes and XTR groupsets can go throught the books too…..

I know you asked the question steel or carbon, but why have you ruled out titanium?

any company that want to charge 6.5k for a bike…..saw a spec today 8.5k erm……..no
has anyone sat down and figured out the actuall cost for example adding up the cost of each component pretty sure theres still 3k left in the pot even with a top spec build.

could TATA not have invested a ridiculous amount of money in the bloody silly supercar they are now paying williams to develop. Afterall as a supposed paragon of automotive excellence surely they could bring some of that to the table and get rid of some of the cost in the landy and bring it up to date using their brilliant manufacturing expertise ….suppose theres less farmers now than posh spice wannabe’s who can get finance

“Why would you need a FP around Langsett?”

Im talking about the area in general i just class langsett as the route up to the peak for myself.

Why would I mean TATA…..before you point out they fund JLR and tell the management what to do.I have a feeling this decision didn’t come from that high up the food chain though more than happy to be told otherwise

Is this thread because the mighty JLR have decided they might just kill off the defender….for good…no more made….extinct …etc….etc

was going to say not many engineering firms want to broach these days but if you look up cnc with rotary broaching you will find a hole host of companies who will do it on a cnc for you expect to pay by the hour

forgot to add some companies will dril the hex corners then clear the centre with a larger drill and mill the hex walls in

dd I forgot to add that…my missus had a NIP for speeding in Birmingham ,never been to Birmingham ….POLICE asked if we could send it as it certainly wasn’t from them

I would head on over to pepipoo if I were you it seems this is the latest scam by folks trying to get a payout. Now it seems you don’t even need to have been there at all someone takes your reg, has an accident, says you left the scene.Result is you have to prove otherwise

If it were me let it get to court let the c’-t get done for fraud thats after you have contacted the police to see if the letter is legit

Titanium cuts nicely with conventional tooling .Tubes are cold drawn even 6/4 titanium tube
You can get titanium to be harder than steel by using oxygen and a couple of other clever tricks …

They don’t necessarily work better bigger pads can have a greater effect more pistons doesn’t mean more power

    compositepro

Also some brakes don’t need to dissipate heat to work better
