I never thought that wearing a helmet would save me from death, and still don’t! but after a few nasty crashes on hard piste/ice and my experiance -see above- thougth it wouldn’t do any harm, that was 7 years ago, when you where the odd-one out. Now every year, some one else in our group turns up with a lid. They’ll all be in full dainese armour/impact shorts just like me soon! 😆

Helmet use seams to be getting more and more every year, I got mine when I had a old guy suddenly turn in front of me (in a tunnel!) and avoiding the collision I caught a backedge and landed on me head, and ended up with concussion! Bought lid on way back to the pad

It may be a private road so they may not be on the ‘road’ as such. If hes a dealer they wont be registerd to him, just grass him up anyway!

Snaps, why not just ignore the post if it upsets you so much? 😉
Roach, chain routed thru’ rear mech correctly? Try adjusting front mech ‘out’ a bit in case the chainset is flexing abit, and rubbing on the cage

Ralph, transporter has loads of different models, no slider, 1 or 2, barn doors or hatch style.
Second row of seats is a window van
Can be mounted backwards, behind front ones, if you just get a plain van, look out for companies that do taxi conversions for seats, windows etc.
Two models , long wheel base about a foot longer than standard.
I tend to take fron wheel out of bike, and put it across the rear (bike upside down)

reminds me of the woman who lives over the road to me- if you park less than 10feet off her front bumper she knocks on the door to complain youve “blocked her in”!
    Apparently she cant use reverse!
How has she got a licence?

My best advice is gather your mates round you- you’ll need them, and try and keep off the drink!

As everyone says good shoes. Good socks as well- I always use the double layered ones.
Run on soft surfaces-grass/sand if you can.
Stretching? Never did it when I was a youngster, but now light stretch/warm up before starting out, and stretch every day (dont injure yourself!), run every 3rd day

I’ve upped my estimate, but only a bit-£500 a year all in. Even when he goes on his holidays, it only costs £5 a day

I dont normally reply but: I’m all for people seeking out their ideal. Or trying other bikes to see if thats what they like/want.
You appear to agree with me that you have found a bike you like, and probably tinker with it, like I do wih mine.
