Riding mostly woods, up and down. natural type terrain with trips to lakes occasional trail centres.
    Running 22/32 11-26. its all I need.
If Ineed a higher gear I free wheel (if i want to go faster on the road, I ride a road bike)
I can get up any thing ridable with my lowest gear.
Bash guard good for for getting over logs
A nice short chain is another benefit
To me its not weight sving/ style, its what works

No, it all depends on the wheel pcd and offset so as above you need to check.

I use the thin end of a teaspoon to scrape any gunk out of the bite valve, and clean whole bladder every month-six weeks with milton stuff. Leave over night and I put the bite valve in the bladder.
    I like johnners answer tho!

A helmet has saved me from injury both off road at relatively low speed, and on road at fairley high speed, both accidents would have been worse without. But I wouldtnt maake anyone wear a helmet. But all the argument that its worse to wear one- thats just bollocks-same as the pikey/chav I cant wear a seatbelt argument

    Nice work roper!
I used to work near alongside a disused rail line, a guy would come along with two harris hawks- they would catch assorted furries, was fascinating to watch

I saw this programme and thought the guy was a bit out of order, and apart from being built too high-its a eye-sore! Good luck NITW

MrNutt we dont vote for the PM in this country, just for the government.

I must apologise for the spelling on my post!
I resorted to singing to my-self on descents just to relax and not get the “death grip”
As crazy-legs/rocketdog say if you bike checks out ok you probably need to look to yourself

Are you sure its your forks?
I had a spell of haveing really bad shaking on the rode bike a couple of years ago while descending- as if something was loose/broken.
It was just me though, as I’d had 3 crashes in two weeks, and it was nerves making me grip too tigtht/tense up
