saw a guy at Grizedale a good few years ago at the visitor centre, on an Orange gringo with his forks b to f, when they had the brake mounted on the rear of the fork. Best thing was he was some kind of instructor telling his students what to do/how good he was!
We debated whether to point out his mistake or not, and thought it was funnier to leave him in his own little world!

YAWN! how many people have you heard about being given the correct directions by their satnav? Exactly everyones got an urbanmyth about things they dont like/need/agree with.
As for the comments about the maps, its the same as the ‘what watch for£?’ you get some numpty saying use the position of the sun, your mobile etc. The thing is, the OP asked a sensible and reasonable question, if you cant give the guy a relevant answer, dont post.

I often ride alone in the Lakes, whats the problem? Tell someone where your going/time you should be back, take a phone/whistle, be safe and dont try anything stupid!

As above you “load” the bearings with the 8mm hex key (torque wrench required) on the inner bolt, the outer ‘cap’ is the self-extracting thingy, tho I think you need to take it out to get the inner bolt completely out/crank off.
Bit of a F on IMO

telescopic site fitted-30m no problem! 😉
