Used to ride there every weekend, but hadn't been for a couple of years 'till I went on the STW Northern Hard Lads( 😉 )ride with Miketully, Jonb, White101, and a few trailblazers- it really is becoming a 'trail-centre', I might go tomorrow if its not pi$$ing down!

I dont buy many, pro-cycling (sorry) monthly, and occasionally STW. Give them any after reading/ hanging onto them for a month or so.

There is probably better places to ask but as you did….
DONT get separated, and keep going thru, probably not best to have a set time on the front-just go hard then give the elbow flick
Its only 10 miles you havnt got time to mess about just go for it!
    Good luck

As above really, the crowd of runners is huge, so they'll be someone around you at all times for encouragement etc. plus good crowds cheering you on.

Sounds a bit like a problem I had last year….

Started like that with the toe, then got worse untill I couldnt lift my right foot- like bend it up- but could bend it down OK. No pain , swelling etc., but I ended up walking awkwardly, kept stybbing toes etc.
Went to see Dr.-"dropped foot" he says, move your foot, and go swimming.
Didnt go swimming, and it sort of went away itself, after 6 weeks or so.
    Good luck!
