Only use them for racing. Mud2 or Racing Ralphs for everything else

No, being fit helps though, and being used to high intensity for an hour is also handy. If you can handle a bike then that wont slow you down. Good luck, and enjoy!

I think Atlaz is cutting a carbon steerer so a pipe cutter wont work.
I use a junior hacksaw- nice fine blade- and an old stem as a guide. As has been said measure twice cut once

It really is quite good looking in the flesh, it wont appeal to roadies but will to mtbers who fancy a road bike- that’ll be most of the people on here then

Im sure he would have wanted you to have something you wanted, needed or would use rather than just keep something because it was his. I know my old man would have.

As has been said before get him to return it (he can’t ‘cos he’s sold it) and refund him. That is what ebay/paypal will tell him to do anyway.
You can appeal against what ebay/paypal decide in a dispute- its worth doing, I sold a frame, tosser who bought it claimed it wasn’t as advertised and wanted a discount- still wanted the frame tho’, opened a dispute when I refused. I had to refund him when I got the frame back, I then appealed – ebay were pretty helpful actually- and won. Got my frame, and the money it had sold for back.

Use tubs for racing but spare wheels are Mud 2s and have raced on them and liked them, or Racing Ralphs. CX Pros on training wheels cos they are cheap

If you’re in Great Lumley, you could easily head up the C2C from Chester, then round Beamish, Causey, Waldridge fell etc riding from the door. Or head for Finchale Abbey then Durham, on to Lanchester valley way (or whatever its called) up to Consett then back down the C2C- not technical but a nice ride out.
Could possibly show you round Sunday, but Im at a party Saturday night so will not be in tip top shape Sun 😳

As user-removed says, or shag her mates ( guarenteed they’ll be one of them up for it)
Have fun with your pals, forget about her, ride your bike, get drunk, and realise life goes on either with or without you

Terrible innit theese birds crapping on peoples cars- you’d have thought they’d have sorted that out by now, next time you get your new BMW see if they can get all the wildlife killed in case it damages your paintwork. I blame Bill Oddie! 😈
