legend – 200 on the top tube, 800 on the stem.

    Mmmm. interesting!
Well impressed with mine. As a test I ran it with my 800, and over a 50 mile ride all data (except elevation gain- no barometer on 200) was nearly identical. Only 0.02 difference in total mileage, 0.2 difference in max speed, and average speed spot on. The route on the map plots are also identical in detail – no sign of any flatlining.
Great piece of kit for £63.

Cheapo modern Schwinn – absolute hoot for cycling to work or going to the shops on a summers day ( not used yet this year!!!)

    That Pashley looks great.
Singlespeed Shep: track style fat bike-unreal 🙂

Good shout.Just nipped out and got a pair.Thanks.
Addmitedly, not as robust as my Thule aero bars, but great value.
Although they won’t accept the Thule ‘T’ track bolts, M6 roofing bolts will slide into the channel, for those with ‘T’ track accessories.

Looks wrong to me. The silver split compression washer visible should surely be under the top cap to centre the steerer/bearing race. Too many spacers also 🙂

    Apart from the very crucial reasons of not needing to carry 3l of the latest high energy concoction and a selection of workshop tool kit around strapped to thier torso, then it’s probably something to do with;

‘ not wishing to look like your average MTB ‘noob’ on a road bike’ 🙂

Could claim I’d just sailed past the guy behind.

But in reality I think I was about to be lapped!

Possibly slightly over budget but this 2011 Giant TCR Advanced 2 is a reasonable deal

Available in large and a great frameset.

Carbon bars, stem, seatpin (all Ritchey), and forks – 4 years race only use.
    Worried? No.

One step nearer now Planning Permission granted. The next, and biggest hurdle will be the local elections in May. If (when) the opposition get in they will try to ‘pull the plug’ and this exciting project will be lost forever!
Personally, it will save me a fortune in time and fuel hammering up to Manchester week in week out.

As Rusty Mac. Park patches all the way. Carry one spare tube plus a pack of Park’s. Quick, easy, always work and make great cable rub frame protectors aswell!

Never had any exotic (read expensive) Ti frames but cheapo ones have served well.
1994 Dyna Tech Torus MTB (cheapo Russian Ti) – still going strong, although not in regular use now.
2001 RSP Road Ti (more cheapo Russian Ti) – still going strong and in weekly use.
2011 Spa Ti Audax (cheapo Chinese Ti) – used regularly but is still an Audax virgin (soon to be rectified). Hopefully will last as long as the others!

All ride well and love the industrial finish (satin/brushed) but have to say my carbon framed road and hardtails are far superior in both performance and weight!

Yes. I replaced the FSA bb on my son’s cross with a 105 bb – half the cost and twice the lifespan!

Sounds like original Crittall windows from the 30’s/ 50’s.
Modern solutions still made by Crittall- not cheap though.

Yep same here if it’s a crono or super crono model. A bit disconcerting initially but they are designed that way to give a more natural feel. The latest super crono seems to have even more lateral movement than the older crono, but that is probably due to the new fast fix clamp system.

Built up my son’s cx with 5700 STI’s and Tektro Orynx canti’s.
Works fine, just the same as the previous 5600.
The 5600 has exposed shifter cables, but in my opinion a more comfortable profile when on the hoods.

    56 here – I think that’s right but not 100% sure!!
No supplements except cod liver oil – works OK for me but accept this is probably placebo effect.
Drink beer after social/ club runs.
Drink Pinot Grigio on race days – mostly afterwards! Got to stick to the training schedule.
Seems to work for me, but the race results make depressing reading!!

    As CHB rightly says above.
For a bit more info it’s all described starting on page 31 in the manual.

Older model brackets came complete with a plastic reducer shim (for 25.4 bars). I’m pretty sure one of these plus a thin rubber strip will enable you to clamp on the thinner section nearer the brake levers. The newer brackets don’t come with these but I reckon Exposure would send you one if asked. Piccie of older bracket below with the shim inside.

Getting on a bit now, but sadly so is the owner!

Weighs just under 21lb (with Conti Speed King Supersonic’s) – waits for ‘njee20 something’ to question claimed weight! 🙂

Should be a micro sd inside the included sd adapter?

Totally agree, absolute pants to initially get sorted, but work great when finally set up.
    The included Quick Start Manual is useless but much more info can be found somewhere in the full manual;

With the unit set to following a course. Go into tools (spanner), set Turn Guidance and Off Course Warnings both to off.
Edit – as above. Beaten to it by pdw. 🙂
